My floor is constantly dusty, the box elder bugs manage to come in too. It gets so dusty at the entrance that dirt settles onto the stairs and of course gets tracked along the hallway. That was the pesky area I wanted clean. The tech came in and licketty split got the stains out of my carpet, and cleaned the area I wanted and did an excellent job. My carpet is OLD, HOW OLD IS IT??? Only the true owner knows. I didn't expect super-duper clean because of the age. BUT the tech came in cleaned the carpet so well that I had to look closer to see if the stains were really gone and they are! When I move out of this place I will call them again. In fact, I know my stairs will get dirty this winter so I will be calling them again in a few months or so.

We've had family living us with that doesn't necessarily have the same cleaning standards I do. Having the carpets cleaned was more of a sanitation effort than anything, and I don't feel that was even remotely touched on. A few that were living us with little artists, so upon their departure I found many colored spots on the carpet. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but there was red, orange, yellow, blue, green and black in multiple locations. Before the technician started I pointed these areas out. There was particularly ugly black streaks in the bedroom which I was informed "might not come out". Overall: HERE'S THE KICKER--I used my spot cleaning machine after Coconut had been here and got ALL of the colored and black spots out that they didn't. And the water it drew was absolutely filthy!!! There has not been anyone in our basement that could have caused it to be sooooo dirty from the time Coconut did their "work" to the time I did mine. All it took to pull the colors out was a little effort. How could industrial machines not have well surpassed mine?!?! Bottom line: I'm calling another company to come do the job right because I wholeheartedly feel it hasn't been cleaned at all. And sanitization is my top priority here. Disheartening! The concerns: 1. The man that came was here for a very short time which was the first flag raised given the size of the space. 2. Finding all the carpet heavily saturated after he left. Expected to have it be a little damp, but this was WET! It took 2 1/2 days of fans blowing to dry it. 3. When I went to see if the marks were gone, I found at least 50% of them still there. 4. None of our furniture was protected. We've used other carpet cleaning services in the past and they put small squares of plastic under the legs of furniture. We moved out what we could before they came, but some things you just can't get out of the way. Such a small effort for something that makes a difference. I ended up doing this myself after he left. We have several vintage sewing machines in tables that could have been ruined otherwise.

Randy arrived on time on 18 APR and proceeded to get to work on our carpets. And yes, we vacuumed the entire house before his arrival with our 35-year-old Kirby upright vacuum. We had him focus on the high-traffic areas of two bedrooms and one office as well as a main hallway, entrance-way, living room, family room, and the stairs to the basement. He pretreated the entire carpet with a spray and then got to work. He brought out what he called the "heavy artillery" as our carpet hasn't been cleaned really well since well before the passing of our senior Italian Greyhounds several years ago. The heavy artillery was an electric-powered rotary steam scrubber. Think of a small floor polisher with steam and vacuum! That did the trick, and after finishing, he gave the carpet a good rake to lift the pile. Note that this heavy artillery is NOT gentle to the pile, but it does clean well! Oh, and he arrived with what seemed like a brand new van and a gasoline-engine-powered steam pressure generator. It looked factory fresh! Randy took care of the stairs by hand using an attachment and took his time getting it done right. Also, this rotary scrubber leaves a more than expected amount of water in the carpet...necessitating open windows for several days to properly dry the clean carpet. Word to the wise. All in all, Five Stars for great service, a technician who really knows his stuff, was pleasant to chat with, and did all this for us for $375. We're very pleased, and we'll have Scott's back again someday--and not wait as long.

She picked Perfect Solution...and it really couldn't have been a better selection! Ronato arrived on time on the 27th of January in his personal pick-up truck loaded with all of the equipment he needed. I thought to myself, "Where are the large van and steam generation equipment and noisy suction pumps?" Nope...Ronato didn't need all that. So after us describing what we wanted and some of the bad spots where our two elderly Italian Greyhound had left us surprises, he got to work. I think the overall steps he took were at least five...1.) full vacuuming with one of his industrial HEPA vacuums, 2.) pre-treating some of the bad spots with an enzyme spray, 3.) working (literally scrubbing) the treatment into the carpet with what looked like a rotary floor polisher with scrubbing bristles, 4.) hand scrubbing some of the tougher spots, and then 5.) a full steam clean and extraction of all of the nasties. Frankly, Ronato busted his butt and worked hard for over three hours doing the traffic areas in our front room, family room, hallway, office, and two bedrooms (plus a small walk-in closet.) When it was all over, Perfect Solution's Jared had Ronato leave a portable fan with us that we moved around the house to aid with drying, and 24 hours later...it was done! Probably the best overall cleaning we've had ever. Kudos to Perfect Solutions and a special thanks to Ronato for hustling three hours straight to get our carpets clean. Fantastic job. The owner, Juan Perez, came to…read moremy house and provided a quote of $838.50 for cleaning the hardwood floors in my living room and kitchen, as well as tile cleaning in the mudroom and butler's pantry. We agreed to the price, and the team arrived the next morning to begin work. However, once they started cleaning the tile, I received a call informing me that the price would be significantly higher because they supposedly didn't expect to clean the full living room area. This made no sense, as the scope of work was clearly discussed during the initial quote. After reading other reviews, it seems like this is a recurring issue--offering one quote to secure the job, then trying to charge more upon arrival. They attempted to charge me nearly double the original quote, and when I refused, Juan's response was extremely unprofessional. He said they would pack up and leave, which they did--leaving cleaning product dumped on the tile. This was by far the most unprofessional service I've ever encountered. Juan demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and business integrity. I regret even considering this company and hope this review saves others from a similar experience.

I had an other carpet company try to get the stain out and they said they would try but could not get the stain out. I thought the stain was pet urine and maybe some oil tracked in. I even went to the carpet provider to see if the warrantee would help with replacing the carpet. I was fortunate to talk with Diane Dickeson at ProSource and she helped me narrow down my options. She recommended Larry Glispy at A Fresh Look. He's amazing! He and Colton came out and immediately said that they could get the stain out. They were expert in seeing that the stain was probably caused by some asphalt that was tracked in when the city did a resurfacing project on my street. I couldn't keep track of the magic solutions that they used but the stain is GONE!!!! My carpet looks great! I will be a life long customer of A Fresh Look carpets and highly recommend them!
