Date sent Insurance Card April 15, 2024

I've been a loyal patient of Lone Peak Dental since 2015, starting with braces and continuing with regular cleanings and care. I've always been responsible with my bills and trusted them with my dental health--until recently. In 2022, I was told I owed $212.80, which I paid in full (and have receipt proof) and believed the matter was settled. My last visit to their office was in October 2023 for a routine dental cleaning. I had no knowledge that they needed updated insurance information until April 2024, when they informed me that I owed money for that cleaning. At that time, I provided my updated insurance coverage and was assured that everything would be adjusted on their side. Because this was the second time their billing caused issues, I chose not to return after that 2023 cleaning--I didn't want to deal with ongoing problems or mismanagement. So imagine my shock when, despite not having been there in almost two years, I recently found a $621 collection from Lone Peak Dental on my credit report--with no warning, no notification, nothing from their office. This careless handling has had a significant negative impact on my credit score, which I had worked hard to maintain. It's frustrating and stressful to see my financial reputation affected due to a mistake I never caused. What's worse, my father had a very similar experience with them. They pushed him to get dental work but only after he insisted on insurance confirmation. Lone Peak Dental assured him it would be covered, yet he faced surprise billing later on. It feels like Lone Peak Dental prioritizes money over honest communication, operating in a way that feels deceitful. If you value clear communication and want to protect your credit, I strongly urge you to be cautious with this practice. Their billing mistakes and lack of transparency have caused me and my family unnecessary financial and emotional hardship. I am currently still awaiting their response to resolve this situation. even with a resolution, I would NOT recommend Lone Peak Dental due to their poor communication and billing practices. I have also left a review on Google and they have responded with "Our team previously reached out regarding your account and we made contact regarding your insurance last year. We'd be glad to assist if you'd like to discuss your account again. Please reach out at your convenience, your satisfaction with our dental care is very important to us." UPDATED REVIEW after their response- In your response to my review, you stated that your team reached out to me last year. However, I had already provided my updated insurance information at that time, which you clearly received--as shown in the attached screenshot. This demonstrates that your team was fully aware of my coverage, yet the subsequent billing issues reveal a serious breakdown in internal communication. As shown in the thread, I sent my updated insurance information on 4/15/24, precisely when you claim to have reached out. Despite this, I have received no response to my email sent on 8/3/25 to lonepeakdental_care@yahoo.com, nor to the follow-up email I sent today, 8/21/25- a full 18 days later. This is the official contact email listed on your website. For a company that claims your patients' dental care is taken very seriously, this delay exposes that honesty, clear communication, and accurate billing are clearly not priorities. I would appreciate a written response from their team directly, not just a public comment.

Dr. Dibble installed this permanent, custom colored implant. Very poor outcome!

I had a really good experience at this office. Everyone was very nice and professional, and I…read morereally had no issues at all. The front desk was also very helpful with my insurance. I've had problems with insurance at other places in the past, but they were quick to check everything and let me know if I had coverage, which I really appreciated. I also want to mention Dr. Facer. I know he is a busy guy, but he still took the time to see me, and I really appreciated that. He didn't have to make the time, but he did, and that meant a lot.

Two experiences here, one as expected, the other terrible, horrible even. And it cost me over…read more$1000.00 because I'd traveled from Las Vegas to Murray, Utah to have the work performed. My first experience was good, mostly because of a dental assistant named "Francis" who was kind, understood my phobia for needles and dentists. She even sang while prepping me for the root canal, kept one hand on my shoulder for reassurance. Dr. Facer himself was good. It's a shame his staff and office aren't reflective of Francis and Dr. Facer. There are other, more consistent dental experiences to be had in SLC than this one. Dig deeper to find one who actually sees you as a human, not a wallet for them to reach into. Note that in their response, it's apparently MY job to track down whomever the new customer service person is. My phone, email, full name, and address in nevada is in your system. Instead of making it the customer's responsibility to reach out, how about doing the professional, ethically correct thing, and reach out to me vs posting pablum every 8-9 months or so? Heard of the Streisand Effect?
