I have extreme anxiety about going to the dentist, and was told that they would like to do some "preventive work" and place a crown on a tooth that had an amalgam filling. The dentist at the time said that they would prescribe valium for the appointment as well as use laughing gas for the procedure. She said the front desk would make all the arrangements and give me a treatment plan. The front desk did give me a treatment plan, which was basically what I would need to pay for the services. I am double covered with two dental insurances and the plan only included one of my insurance carriers. Also when I asked about what the secondary insurance would cover I was told they would not know until everything processed through the first insurance. I also asked about how the prescription would work and she told me that it wouldn't be called in until the day before the appointment. Two days before my appointment I received a text reminding me of the appointment. I did not reply until the second text came through the day before my appointment. After I replied to the second text, I asked about the prescription. I was ignored and received an additional text regarding payment needed in full before the appointment. My anxiety level was high and I let them know that I could not keep the appointment. It felt like they were only concerned with money. After canceling, they ignored it and continued to text me regarding the prescription and the appointment happening. I had to tell them over and over again that I was not coming. I have now been billed $150.00 for not canceling withing 48 hours. Also, trying to cancel my 6 month appointment scheduled in January was nuts. No one answered the phones when I called on my phone. I emailed asking for an acknowledgement and never received one. I finally had to have my husband call on his cell phone to cancel which they did answer his phone. To their credit, I did receive an acknowledgement to my email days after my husband called, however, they wanted to know if I preferred morning or afternoon to reschedule. the first time I went was amazing, they were kind and accommodating. since that first experience I've had issues.. 1- my kids and I were super sick and couldn't make our appts, I called and they charged me the cancellation fee despite the fact that we courteously kept our sick and contagious germs from spreading to them by not keeping the appts. 2- all of my appts in the past were at one location, the when I made another appt recently they booked me at the wrong location but didn't tell me until the confirmation text. so I can't cancel it otherwise I'd be charged again. super frustrated at this point and will not be going back. read more

Absolutely blown away by the amount of professionalism that I had on my first experience with them. I am visiting from Los Angeles and went into receive a quote for my two implants. Even though there were not able to beat a previous quote I received from another company which was $200 off. I have been a patient several years nothing but problems with the billing when I called why I have a bill the said my insurance denied the claims and I needed to pay. When in reality the insurance never received the claims! Instead of doing your job, you call the patient and lie to them. This was not the first time this has happened or they don't put the right adjustments in and send you another bill, which was paid in full. I had a crown made which was way smaller then the other teeth they ground down my good teeth and left them rough not even polished them. read more

Let's be real here nobody likes going to the dentist. The staff here is super friendly and make sure that the patients are comfortable before they begin any procedures. It's a little bit pricier than I like, but I feel like the service you get more than makes up for it. read more

I started going here about a year ago after being continually dissatisfied with my old dentists office. Dr. Cameron is very skilled, gentle and professional. All the hygienists are very talented as well and are lovely to be around. This office also has awesome amenities, such as Netflix, a hand exfoliation treatment that is complimentary with your visit (although currently not available due to COVID-19) and a VIP program that you can win prizes from! I have been with White Pine Dental for about a year now and I love it! I always hated going to the dentist but once I switched over I have had nothing but good experiences. Dr. Hutchison and all of the hygienists are very friendly and make you feel at home. I have had checkups, fillings, and my wisdom teeth out and felt very taken care of. Dr. Hutchison even called me to answer some of my questions after my wisdom teeth were removed so I didn't have to go into the office. Each time I go in feeling nervous but am always out at ease. All of the doctors are very kind! Their facility is very clean and organized. They offer free water, coffee, and chapstick and their chairs have message and warming settings to make you comfortable. I am so happy I found this place, White Pine Dental make going to the dentist a little more enjoyable ;) read more

I had my first treatment with White Pine Dental, yesterday. I had met with them almost a year ago for a consultation to see how much it would be to fix old fillings I had done when I was younger. Keep in mind I have had traumatizing experiences with my old dentist (WD). When I was escorted to the treatment room I began to have major anxiety. My assigned technicians and Dr. Western were very empathetic to my situation. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and safe. My treatment ran a little long since I had to get a crown and some old fillings fixed. The clinic is very clean and chic. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There are tv's mounted on the celling for patients to watch Netflix throughout their treatment. You are also offered a blanket to keep you warm and a remote to control the seats heater and massager on the chair. Overall, my experience with them was great! This is the fanciest dentist office I have ever been to. read more

Overall one of the absolutely worst dental practices I have ever been to. The Dentist Mrs. Snarr treated me like I wasn't a human being. She didn't discuss options, just treated me like I was a number. They recommended services that were not covered by my insurance, and then failed to submit to my insurance those that were. The office staff is the worst. I have never had so many problems with insurance as with them, and they overcharged me around every corner. The only saving grace was the dental hygienist I worked with "McKayla" she rocked, she was sweet, nice and truly seemed to care. Too bad no one else in that organization does. read more

I went in for some dental work (Crown replacement) which we all know is never fun. However Dr. smith and her assistant Kendra were so amazing! They made sure I was nice and comfortable, even set me up to watch Netflix, and made sure that I was ok the whole way through. The best part was that I did not have to wait for my crown to be made by another Lab and then sent over to the office for a later appointment. They made my crown right there in office. I highly recommend White Pine Dental to anybody who is looking for a new dental office with amazing customer care, great staff and amazing hours. read more

I called in to get general information for a quote, I was told they would do a complementary consultation. When I arrived I felt a little mislead of the "free consultation but I needed a mandatory xray" Luckily I had insurance and the X-ray was 100% covered and I had already spent the time to drive there. The front desk was super great!!! Only thing is I would have wanted them to tell me that over the phone when I was inquiring about prices. Instead of just telling me something over the phone with out fully disclosing that I was going to need a mandatory x ray, the doctor was amazing and super nice. When it came to check out time they charged me $104. Over the $50 I was quoted. Bottom line I feel they do mislead to thrive business, but in my opinion that's not a good way to gain business read more

I've always had great experiences at White Pine. The staff is professional and thoroughly explained a few different options as to how they could treat the surface cracks on my front tooth. I decided on doing a crown and they did a wonderful job of making sure that I was comfortable and well taken care of during the appointment. The results have been amazing. Nobody can even tell that I have a crown on my front tooth. I would recommend anyone to this office! read more

Lovely staff that takes excellent care of patrons. They offer a hand wax treatment free of charge and have a variety of luxury amenities (TV, chair massage, etc). Easy to find and the mints they have at the front desk are great too! I would recommend this dental clinic every day of the week. read more

If I could zero stars that's what I would give. In September my daughter had an appointment for a filling but it ended up being that she needed a root canal/crown, and there's a big difference in $ between the filling and the root canal/ crown. We're still on the one year waiting period on our dental insurance to be covered for major dental work, which they told me at the time of the appointment that her procedures (root canal/crown) is not considered major dental work so our insurance would cover half of the cost so I signed a payment plan which consisted of 3 equal payments the first of which was paid the day of her appointment. We paid for October and postponed the last payment in November a week back which was payed for at the beginning of December but we got charged again at the end of December and when I called them about it, they said that we still have $800 more to pay they said at that time (December) that her procedures were still not considered "major" and that if I called our insurance company that they would/should fix the mistake and everything would be ok. So I called our insurance and they said 1) it is definitely known that what she had done is most certainly considered major dental work and 2) they DID NOT call to make sure her procedures would be covered....so I've been trying unsuccessfully to get this resolved with the dental office. I've explained this whole situations 4 times since December and I always get "this is so-and-so's issue so let me get your number and they'll give you a call back" they're running me in circles and the not getting back to me. Now that she had her 6 month check up appointment set up before this happened, and we didn't show up (I never confirmed the appointment) they have no problem calling me Now to say that they're going to charge me with a cancellation fee. This place is unprofessional on so many levels. They're not getting any more business from me. I've changed dentist and have never had an issue/problem/miscommunication problem at all. read more
