Feel very comfortable with this office. I may not look nervous at the dentist but I really am terrified. Dr.Patch and his team have always made me feel comfortable. I do recommend them 100% I don't feel pressured at all to get services done either. Their teeth cleaning is good. They don't polish your teeth like other offices I have been to in the past. Maybe I need to ask but over all good cleaning. I had root canal done and dr. Patch was very gentle and kind allowed for breaks if needed. They do give you option to watch Netflix during your procedure. Which is cool if you need a distraction. And they give complimentary facials after cleaning. Also call for correct office hours. I don't think they have updated their website. Dr. Patch is the dentist there not the one on their website. read more

I really debated on writing this review but I think people and the owner needs to know how Mandi is treating people. I gave this place three stars because overall my experience was ok. I started coming here about 9 months ago. I worked at a facility with children with mental health complications, it was a group home. I was assaulted by one of my students and broke two of my teeth. I had to have a crown put on one and a tooth pulled, an implant placed and then the new crown put on the implant. When I first started coming to Riverton Dental it was great. They helped me immensely with Workmans Comp. I called them when everything first happened and they said they had worked with Workmans comp before. They did a majority of the work at Riverton Dental, I had my Implant placed at Salt Water Dental. Mandi told me that those offices work together when implants are placed. I loved Salt Water Dental. They are beyond kind there, I even confided in Dr. Jensen about what was going on at Riverton Dental. He apologized on their behalf and asked me to give them another chance. That he goes from Salt Lake to Riverton Dental for his work and wouldn't go anywhere else. Come to find out the reason he was telling me this is because is he the owner of both Riverton Dental and Salt Water Dental. Now getting to the real issues. Lindsay called me Monday the 17th to make an appointment to get the crown placed on my implant for Wednesday the 19th of February, I asked her if she had any sooner appointments because I was beyond excited and she said no, I asked her to call me if she had any cancelled appointments because I live close to the office and would like to get in ASAP. She was kind and told me yes. Wednesday came and I got a call first thing in the morning, I thought they were calling me to tell me to come in early. It was Mandi. She was letting me know that she was not going to place the crown because my workman's comp had not paid her. She was not able to get ahold of him and they were not calling her back. I ended up asking her to give me workman's comp phone number and I called and they picked up first ring. We ended up three waying Mandi, he let her know that she had not sent in any of the bills and if she sent him the bills he would get a check out the same day for they to place the implant. She thanked him and hung up. I called Mandi back. She still said she is not going to place the crown until she got payment and a few other things she said to me that was uncalled for was "Its your fault that insurance has not paid me, they are your insurance and your problem not mine." another thing, one of my teeth were in the process of decaying, so I think that is one of the reasons it broke as easy as it did but she said "We both know that break didn't happen at work and you are lucky that workman comp is paying for that" if you work for a dental office why would you say something like that? I didn't even get an apology for it. Just so that she knows everything that happened to me is a video tape at my work and they can see it broke my teeth. We had great video cameras and they took pictures after and sent them to my "insurance" I fully recommend Dr Jensen at Salt Water, however I do not recommend Riverton Dental. I ended up going to a different office to have the implant placed. That office was great. They were the one that told me more about what was going on Riverton Dental and how many complaints they are getting. We actually had a conference call with Dr. Jensen. He ended up releasing the tooth to the new dental office. He did say a couple things that stood out to me that was a little bit upsetting. He said "We need to give her the tooth and put this down as a bad experience and cut ties" He is a great dentist but he needs to know what is going on in his other offices. If it was me as the owner I would want to know what was going on. Mandi did tell me as well if I wrote this review that she was going to "challenge" the review. She can try to challenge the review but what I know what my experience was. read more

Don't be fooled by the 5-star review on Google. It is NOT the same dentist nor the same quality of service. Make sure you read the policies. They don't let you know whom to call to cancel on a weekend for an appointment on a Tuesday yet will charge you $50 every 30 minutes for calling on a Monday (72 hour cancellation notice). Who does this without stating it in their policies??? The dentist will spend 5 minutes with you and gives you no options besides the most expensive. The office manager sounds like a child on the phone and is just about as inexperienced as the dentist. They want your money, and they don't truly care about their patients. I have never had such a terrible experience at a dentists' office until coming here nor a $236 bill where I only owed $36 after insurance. The $200 is for their poorly written policies. Don't go here. There are so many better offices!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about Riverton Dental. I originally called them due to the great reviews. I had a cleaning done and that was great, I just had two old silver caps replaced and what an amazing job Dr. patch and Kylie did. I felt no pain and got to watch Netflix on the ceiling, it was so relaxing. The entire staff is amazing and they make you feel at home. read more

I get horrible anxiety the second I walk into dental offices...except for this one! Everyone there is so kind and helpful and wants to help you feel as comfortable as possible. The best part is that they offer spa services during your cleaning!!! I truly didn't believe it until I went it. I got a sugar scrub for my hands and then dipped my hands in warm wax. They brought me to the chair and it was a massage chair and I got a warm neck pillow and eye mask while they cleaned my teeth. When I was done they were incredibly helpful walking me through my entire treatment plan and going through my insurance. At the end I got a complete facial and arm/hand massage with calming music playing. All of this was complimentary with my visit! It's the only dental office where I left feeling relaxed and calm and not stressed! read more

These guys are the best. They have all the latest technology and comfort items that are above and beyond what you would expect. The are very professional and sincerely care about the customer. Last Friday I had extensive work done. Later that night the dentist himself called me to see how I was doing. I've been a patient here for many years. Dr. Pearson and his staff are friendly and very competent. Whether I'm in for a cleaning/checkup or for a major issue as I'm dealing with now, I never worry about the work I'm having done. I know it will be done right. The new digs are pretty nice as well! They are as nice as the staff. Massage chairs, warm neck wraps, Netflix, etc. I'm not sure if I'm at the dentist or the spa! Talk about pampered! I will try to stick to the facts: Me, my husband and four children went to Riverbend Dental every six months for years and never missed an appointment. One day, shortly before my son's appointment, he threw up. I called to reschedule and the secretary threatened me with a $75 fee for not notifying them 24 hours in advance. I told her at that point not to bother rescheduling my son, that me and my family would not be back, ever. I had been dissatisfied with the dentist's work anyway. Every time he filled a cavity, he left it jagged and the filling would snag on the floss and catch on my cheeks and tongue. I started going to another dentist, who discovered that the crown Dr. Drollinger at Riverbend Dental had done for me was very poorly done and had so many pressure points that it had actually created an abscess as well as caused my jaw bone to deteriorate and recede. I have since had several procedures and surgeries to correct the damage and try to save the tooth. Then, just before Thanksgiving, I received a threatening letter from a collection agency regarding the $75 for the missed appointment. read more

BEST PLACE EVER!! After struggling to find a decent dentist I have finally hit the jackpot! I am a nervous person when it comes to the dentist, but this place eased those nerves the second I walked in. With the inviting staff and self serve drinks in the lobby, the warm neck pillow, the massage chairs, and tv I couldn't believe the hospitality!! I had to have some cavities filled and I was terrified to get the shots. Every time I go to the dentist it feels rushed and it hurts. Doctor Pearson himself came in, and talked to me before hand to make sure I was comfortable. To my pleasant surprise he administered a few shots and I literally didn't feel a thing. I don't know what kind of magic he uses but I was SO RELIEVED. I will have no problem coming to this dentist office and bringing my entire family. I also want to note that he is very patient with kids and has such a friendly and approachable demeanor. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! read more
