The next is when you gps to their location it will say they are closed which makes you nervous that they are closed. Their website online will also say they are closed as well. So when you drive there you are wondering if you are gonna end up at a closed dentists. they are closed Fridays so if you have a Saturday appointment and need to reschedule you must do it 2 days in advance. Cross your fingers nothing comes up Friday. When I was getting my teeth cleaned the process was un organized. They would say they needed to get the x ray machine then 10 mins later a new person shows up with no xray. They kept leaving me hanging. The whole thing just seems messy.

And he would only refer me to a very VERY expensive oral surgeon that required upfront payment of $2700 to pull my infected tooth. So, unable to afford that, I lived with it for another year and a half while it caused me much further suffering and pain. I finally found a qualified dentist who was willing to do the extraction for a mere $40 - at The Denture Company Boise. He was very kind and very fast. Helped me on the very same day I went in. Do yourself a favor and AVOID White Pine Dental at all costs. Their X-rays and referrals cost me MORE than the other dentist who actually DOES the work. The BBB should shut White Pine down.

I have a tendency to gag, so I kept pushing her hand away to get some air and wipe my wet mouth. She said if I keep pushing her hand away she will end the cleaning. She did a beautiful job cleaning my teeth and gave me a generous goody bag. Overall, the Hygienist was friendly and was knowledgeable except for that one rude incident.

I was also asked multiple times for a driver's license and about where I parked, even after I explained that I can't drive and provided my passport as ID. It would be more inclusive to ask for "a form of ID" instead of assuming patients have a driver's license or drove to the appointment. As someone who is autistic and cannot drive, that felt extremely dismissive--especially after I had already explained it. The staff were otherwise kind, but I hope the office can improve these aspects for future patients.

In reality, this office uses predatory financing tactics to hit sales quotas. They told me my insurance was 'covering half' of a massive bill to pressure me into a corner, billed my insurance a retail rate of $3,772.00, but immediately pushed through a Sunbit loan for about $1,580.00. According to Blue Cross Blue Shield, my legal, in-network patient responsibility is only $793.60. Instead of finding the best savings, the office pre-billed my loan for nearly double what I actually owe to include unscheduled future work. The office manager admitted in writing that the loan included uncompleted treatment, but instead of voiding the contract, the office has ghosted me, tried to hit me with illegal debit card processing fees, and is hiding my financial ledger. Did not take a history. I don't think he even read my chart or any of the paperwork I filled out prior. Did not give information regarding future care, or what I should be doing for myself. I could hear him berating other patients and staff. As a type 1 diabetic I already brace for medical professionals to be misinformed and judgemental when I step into their office, and I was still so incredibly floored by how poor his bedside manner was. Even as a regular human being this man was incredibly unkind. Dentistry is already one of the most expensive and daunting forms of medical care, especially in America. There is a huge power dynamic and at no point did I feel comforted or relieved that this man was caring for me. It was also incredibly expensive and seemed very shady. For being someone who has chosen to be a carer for people in vulnerable situations it truly seems that he takes pride in creating even more barriers for patients. I am so disgusted with this entire experience. And after reading these other reviews I am not the only one. Please do so so so much better.
