I recently bought my first car from Mark Jones, and I cannot say enough good things about him, or my experience at Lombard Ford.
I started my car search at a different dealership, and when it became apparent that nobody there really cared about selling a car, I found myself at Lombard.
It was like walking into a different world when compared to the first dealership I went to. Where before it was unfriendly and unwelcoming, Mark and the staff at Lombard were cheerful, energetic, and extremely helpful.
I came in wanting a Fiesta, and where the other dealer was helpful in finding one close to what I wanted, and was willing to get that car brought up for a $500 transfer fee, Lombard worked with me to find the exact car I wanted. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the exact car I was looking for, so they informed me that we could either get a similar car, order the exact car I wanted, or take a look at their next model up, the Focus, which was similar to what I wanted in the Fiesta.
They gave me a great deal on the Focus, and, with absolutely no dealer pressure, I decided to take a step up and get the Focus. It was lacking in some features I wanted with the Fiesta, but it was a lot more car for the money and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I came back the next day to pick up my car and drove it off the lot with a big smile on my face.
The real difference is the people at Lombard Ford. My whole time there I really felt that not only Mark, but the entire business was revolving around finding out what I wanted from a new car, and putting me in the car that would live up to or exceed my expectations. In the end, my first car buying experience was fantastic. I got a new car that I look forward to driving every day, and I have Mark Jones and the rest of the staff at Lombard Ford to thank for that.
So, not to sound like a cliche radio advertisement, but if you're in the market for a new car, go to Lombard Ford and ask for Mark Jones. You will not be disappointed. read more
