Had two…read moredifferent taco plates, excellent, the beef chimichanga, very flavorful, and the special of the night, pulpo on a sweet potato purée, WOW!!! The chef here is amazing and added so much flavor to the community. I also really liked that they offered draft beer beyond the typical Cruzcampo and San Miguel . Nothing against either of those, but craft beer pairs much better with the outstanding flavors on their menu.

The walk itself was actually refreshing, and once inside, the place was cozy, lively, and still buzzing with customers. Service was immediate (bless them), so I ordered a sangria--which hit the spot--and the carnitas fajitas. I absolutely scarfed them down. They came out hot, flavorful, and exactly what my exhausted, hungry soul needed. Drinks and food were delivered quickly, and the server was friendly and helpful the entire time. Now for the real star of the show: I had read reviews mentioning a black cat, and yes--the cat with the broken tail is still there. Super cute, super friendly, and honestly might be the best after dinner greeter in the place. Would come back for the food, the service, and of course, the cat.

I was in a party of six so we all ordered different cuts. Trust me there was more than enough to go around. Did I mention the wine, I forgot what I had, but the server said it paired excellently with my cut of steak and he provided different advice for all of us depending on our steak. SN: The wifi in here is ridiculously fast. It's Spain so expect to eat pretty late (930pm) for our meal the courses were timed perfectly. Instead they never checked on us and we had to flag down a staff to tell them about it and it took then 20 minutes to deliberate and finally the cook came over with an attitude stating we have to pay for it because we took "20 minutes to say something." They kept insisting that they cook the same burger more that was bitten and had been sitting and that they had back for over 20 minutes and that they would give a new bun and toppings. This is utterly ridiculous. Who would want that back especially after repeatedly insisting we no longer wanted it and that we can just pay for everything else. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever. And we are not the only customers there at the time who had a problem with raw food.

Venue: Come for the food, stay for the ocean view and sunset. This place is in a great spot next to the beach and easy to find. You will need to park your car somewhere in town, we parked a few blocks away near the Embarcadero parking lot. The restaurant is also very clean and if you arrive right at 8pm, you don't really need a reservation. Staff: Great service, especially for our for customers that don't know how to speak Spanish. They are fluent in English and very helpful in ordering local favorites and fresh fish. Food: We loved every item we ordered and it was nice to be able to share the dishes so we can all experience each other's plates. The grilled octopus was tasty and not too smoky or salty. The croquettes weee surprisingly tasty and not fishy at all. Definitely come here if you want to have dinner with a group or want to relax and enjoy a fun meal. We came here during the week and did not need reservations, but it can get busy on weekends, so make reservations if you can.

We dined outside with 8 people total and had lovely waiter service. We were able to get drinks and walk along the beach while waiting on the rest of our party. The sommelier was a kind French lady who made us feel very welcome. We tried appetizers and main entrees, but no desserts. I loved the sakana roll and summer rolls, and my husband enjoyed his duck curry. We also had sangria and mojitos, all delicious. There is a small blue hut bathroom outside near the seating. The decor is beach eclectic and we loved getting to sit outside for sunset. The restaurant was busy, but every party was spread out so you did not feel crowded. This place feels like a hidden gem. Five stars for the incredible views and good service!

On the recommendation of others, we tried the salmon curry, fried rice, pad thai with chicken and the chicken satay. Our favorites were the salmon curry and the chicken satay. Both were so flavorful - the salmon was cooked to the right temperature and the curry had just the right amount of heat to it. The fried rice and pad thai tasted fine but not something we would be eager to order again. No room for dessert unfortunately. There is parking available at the restaurant but it is a small space. There is parking on the dirt main road and about a 2-5 minute walk to the restaurant. Beautiful views and nice staff. The prices here are a bit higher than most places in the area. Overall, Great place for date night, girls night, group night or whatever night you want..I recommend coming here during the golden hour to catch the lovely spanish sunset. Reservations are recommended!
