They staff is real nice overall but the logistics of things was very messy.
This is an impressive waterfront restaurant.
We made reservations for 8 but we ended up being 12 although they tried to Accommodate us they ended up putting us in a very warm room with no AC and the chairs were full of sand. The chairs inside the restaurant had so much sand, it is impossible it was just from the sand flying with wind. If it is wind sand, then they never cleaned the chairs cause I was no joke very full of sand from just sitting on them.
Because we were so many I think they were a little annoyed, we had more people show up from work and we ended up being afraid of asking them to accommodate, which is on us cause people just decided to show up, but we did bring them business so I was hoping they would be a little less annoyed. But that's ok. I understand that in different countries I can't expect the same level of hospitality we experience in the US.
We were in here for over 3 hours and the rounds of drinks took a long time along with the food that took about at least an hour to arrive.
We did get PAELLAS for like 8 people but after waiting about two hours our paella rice felt undercooked and dry, also the amount of sea food is so lacking. The amount of sea food on the paella was very minimal. Does not justify eating it assuming is paella. They have prawns on the menu, but they only have the amount of prawns added for the amount of people whom will eat the paella, so they are basically a garnish, they being listed on the menu was a bit misleading to me. They don't even call the plates paellas, cause they say it's not the correct location in Spain to call that, but after having it I'm assuming they don't call that cause the paella should be served with much more sea food in it and not calling it paella makes the expectation of a lot of sea food go away. But they did tell us that it was paella just not named like that on the menu. Again misleading.
I was expecting a lot better from this fancy looking waterfront place for sure. read more
