We came across this tapa bar while we were walking around Rota, Spain. They had live Flamenco music tonight. Al Compás has a variety tapas and drinks. We tried 10 different tapas and they ranged from good to excellent. All were very reasonably priced and delicious. We will definitely go back and will take some friends with us next time. We have eaten at many places that serve tapas and these are some of the best we have had. You can also order them as raison or plate (larger quantities). They also have a variety of fish, squid, and quiche but we have not tried those yet. They have menus in English or Spanish. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and speak a little English. We had no difficulty communicating with them. Seating consists of stools at the bar, 4 tables and chairs inside and 3-4 tables and chairs outside. Note: Euro cash only; credit cards are not accepted.
Give it a try... you won't be disappointed. read more
