She was not exaggerating. Honestly, she may have undersold it. The shop is inside a charming house, which makes the whole experience feel less like visiting an ice cream store and more like stopping by the home of a very talented friend with exceptional taste in desserts. It is comfortable, welcoming, and a great place to hang out while convincing yourself that fruit mixed with ice cream is basically a serving of produce. They make New Zealand-style real fruit ice cream by blending actual frozen fruit directly into creamy vanilla ice cream. The result is incredibly fresh, smooth, and full of real fruit flavor. It is not ice cream with a sad little strawberry waved over it for decoration. You can actually taste the fruit in every bite, and the texture is unbelievably creamy. It is easily some of the best ice cream I have ever had. Then there is Mr. Henry, the coolest dog in Burleson and clearly the real owner of the establishment. I messaged the delivery person 3 times to ask to put them please put the cakes in the bin so they don't melt - a note was also on the door to please put them in the bin. The delivery person would not message me back and refused to put them in the bin. A simple act of kindness was too much.
