Very nice, clean restaurant, went there on a Wednesday, pretty busy, didn't have reservations but they were able to seat us as long as we were done before the reservations. Food was awesome Wanted empanadas but we were told the dough that was made wasn't right so it was 86 for the night. Had the plantain apps it was good but for the price they should given you more, 3 pieces of fried and 3 pieces of sweet. They are fairly cheap at the grocery store. Chips and guacamole were awesome again for the money that you pay, could have given you more. My son ordered salmon tacos, only 2 tacos & salmon pieces were very small, not sure if it was wild or farm raised. Had carne asada tacos and only 2 served. My hubby had truffle Mac & cheese w/braised ribs, It was good but have had better. Drinks are expensive and so is the desert menu. Wish you'd get more food for the price that you paid for it. We enjoyed a lovely evening here! Warmly greeted and seated immediately with a reservation. Opted to go early on a Thursday night so we enjoyed a quiet but lively dining room. After a brief wait Robert greeted us and took our drink order. I enjoyed a margarita which was fresh and delicious- not exceptional but tasty. Might try one of the flavors next time with heat bc they didn't look too sweet. We ordered chips, salsa & queso to start. Excellent flavors!! Each sauce in the trio was fresh and delicious. You could taste the unique flavors of the homemade sauce and queso while sipping your cocktails. Very relaxing. We consider asking for more tortillas for dipping but opted to save the extra to enjoy on our meal. We ordered 2 of the bowls which were delicious. Fresh and loaded with different ingredients- black beans, corn, rice and marinated onions plus pork or chicken. A medley of flavors that worked well!! My husband enjoyed the mushroom tacos!! Delicious! We tried the chocolate ice cream taco and tres leches cake for desert. So yummy!! I loved the cinnamon sugar on the cake!! Robert took great care of us! It was a delightful evening. We enjoyed it very much and will go back again. I highly recommend this restaurant! If you're looking for a big honking burrito and a basket of free chips please go elsewhere. The prices were ridiculous given the small portions. $13.95 for a few chips and a cup of guac? $46 for fajitas for two that barely fed one person? $30 for a crab cake and asparagus? Service was quick but didn't feel genuine, in fact, nobody even refilled our water glasses. When the auto-gratuity of 20% was added on to our bill, it explained the inattentive service. First of all this place was so crowded and noisy, we hesitated staying for dinner. service was good but we were rushed thru our meal by our server because they want to turn over their tables quickly. We did have a reservation and every table was taken. Food with a Mexican flair, was just OK and nothing special. The servings were small, just 2 tacos on the plate for $16-$18. So way over priced. OK, so like tapas. Sides started at $11.? for French fries, or a small bowl of brussel sprouts? Forget dessert, $13. for a couple of scoops of ice cream? Yikes, we spent $200. tipped well and will never go back there again. and yes it's a strip mall so parking was a nightmare. There are just too many great restaurants out there to waste your time on mediocre. read more

Menu has many tequila's on it and many different kinds of margaritas. Beers on tap and a full bar with many other drink options as well. It's not just tacos they have seared salmon ceviche, a raw bar, fajitas, pasta bowls and more. Quesabirria dip was amazing! Oysters were cooked perfectly, the butter garlic sauce with bread. Tortillas were soft, fresh and cooked perfectly. We ordered carne asada, Baja fish and the cauliflower tacos and they were all awesome! One of us got the Lola's Chopped Salad and it looked amazing stacked with baby kale, marinated black beans, roasted corn, sweet 100 tomatoes, avocado, green onion, jack, cabbage, spiced pepitas, chipotle, agave vinaigrette, and tortilla sticks. Very fun restaurant and very fresh dishes. I am typically not a fan of Mexican food except for at Lolas. Love the food. I choose dishes that are not crazy hot, but have just wonderful flavor. Love the bustling atmosphere and a great place to enjoy with friends. Great drinks too. read more

Decor is charming . Bar side is definitely nicer/elevated/more adult/romantic oriented. I found our seating to be a little awkward. I don't like to feel like I'm having a cozy, date night meal, with the people sitting next to me. Service was friendly and knowledgeable but sometimes slow. Our particular server failed to share the drink specials with us. Thankfully I overheard the server taking care of our unofficial dining partners. Food was honestly underwhelming. I was expecting to be blown away. I love Mexican food and I don't think there's a Mexican restaurant in a 50 mile radius I haven't been to. Some aren't fancy, but the food is fantastic. Some are just mediocre all around. Some have stunning decor and you think it's gonna be amazing and it's not. Sometimes you go to a place and you've had a dish so good you would pay $30+ for it. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. Beautiful decor. Refined servers and upscale Mexican cuisine offerings. However, I found the flavor to be very lacking. One dish, had so many different flavors/sauces.. they competed with each other.. so you didn't really know what you were tasting. Smoky? fresh & bright?savory? spicy??? OH MY LORD! What an incredible place to eat!!! My first time here, I had the truffle Mac and cheese with brisket and it was most definitely the best dish I have ever tasted! The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was delectable and the brisket melted in my mouth. The service was absolutely wonderful, our babysitter was having some issues that needed my immediate attention so when our server came over I was on the phone and he was totally understanding! It was as loud as you would expect being very busy, but I could still have a conversation with the people around me which was great. This is definitely my new favorite spot to eat the menu looked out of this world and I can't wait to visit again to try more! read more

Perfect lunch! Margaritas and tacos! My wife and I sat at the bar and we weren't disappointed. The bartender was able to prepare a virgin passion fruit libation for my wife. I went for the classic margarita. We ordered the quesabirria as an appetizer. The birria broth to dip the quesabirrias had an incredible earthy aroma and a taste of spices. Perfect pairing for the margarita. Then, we ordered the Baja fish tacos and the al pastor tacos. To top off our lunch, we shared the tres leches for dessert. Beautiful and bright environment, so we are planning to return to try other flavorful tacos and more margaritas. read more

We showed up at 430pm and the place was packed. Lucky for us, there were 2 seats at the bar. Excellent, fresh, authentic Mexican and more. The oysters were sweet and delicious. I had the Baja Fish tacos. The fish was moist and flaky, battered in perfect, light tempura. Dressed with fresh cilantro, julienne carrots and red onion. The Margs were very good. Their Marg mix tastes very fresh. Will be back again soon. I'd recommend making a reservation. read more

This was my family's first time at Lola's. We were very excited to eat there. Our waiter was odd in an uncomfortable way. He was very difficult to understand and when asking him questions, he seemed either confused or not interested in answering. He also made my son feel very uncomfortable when I mentioned his meal was too spicy. The food was hit or miss. The tortilla chips for the guacamole were not great. Lobster enchiladas were only so so. I had shrimp tacos with mole sauce. I can't eat dairy and the waiter told me he would ask if they could prepare the taco dairy free. What I received was a taco without the toppings that had dairy. It was a very plain taco and that was not what I had expected. I thought they were just going to make the toppings without using butter. The tacos were very spicy and very little food for an entre. Thinking about it, the food was more miss than hit. The atmosphere was noisy and needed some sound buffers. After straining to hear if there was background music, we realize there was, but you couldn't hear it. It was just adding noise to the already noisy room. The prices are quite high, but I think that is pretty common these days. Lastly, the service was extremely slow. Sadly, overall, this was a disappointing dining experience. read more
