It maybe difficult to see but the salad was coated with a very thin layer of avocado/guacamole and topped with grated cheese. The avocado/guacamole made the salad taste amazingly delicious. Lasagna is a favorite entree at the restaurant. Composed of multiple layers of vegetables and sauces, this was one of the best vegan dishes I've ever had. At one point, I almost forgot that there were no meat in the lasagna. I must disclose I love tomato sauce and this entree had plenty of it. So to address the elephant in room, would I recommend Pure Food and Juice? Absolutely, if you are into plant based vegan diet. If you are not, you may prefer to spend your money elsewhere because $22 for a vegan lasagna may not be worth it. I just cannot recommend a vegan diet to someone who doesn't like vegan food.
