This past September, I popped my front tire going to pick up school breakfast/lunches at the Beechview Elementary location. I jacked up the Prius, removed the tire and as I was grabbing the spare, the jack collapsed. I called AAA, our membership was one month expired so I renewed. The said it would be 90 minutes so I walked home (about a mile and some change) to deliver the school food to our kids. I got back to the car and waited and a school worker told me that somebody came by from AAA looked at the car (picture added) and said they couldn't do it. I called AAA and they said it wasn't possibly and that I'd have to find a place that could. My wife called George at his shop from home and told her that he would call me and to not worry about finding another option, he would help. He called me, I gave him my location and George and another super nice guy (can't remember his name, sorry) showed up in George's own truck with a jack (a good one, not the junk that Prius gives you with the car). Anyway, it a matter of minutes, we had the spare on. I tried to pay George something but he refused. Instead, he said, that spare tire looks a little low, follow me back to the shop and we'll put some air in it. Which they did. I can't speak highly enough of George and G & C Auto Repairs.

George is conscious of the fact that I'm on a budget and rather than order $1000s of dollars of work when I take my vehicle in, he will say I need to fix X today, make sure you plan on doing Y soon, and let's check on Z in another 6 months. I really appreciate this way of handling my car maintenance as it allows me to plan for major repairs. My car has been kept in great shape since going to George and I would recommend this shop to everyone!
