First time visit. Wasn't thrilled with the service or the burger. Burger patty seemed like a freezer patty and was tasteless. Tried to drown it in barbecue sauce but could only eat half. Onion rings were greasy and soggy. Had to ask for drinks three times while servers seemed to be standing around. I've been to Logan's quite a few times since it opened. I've mainly only went for drinks after work, so have yet to have lunch there or try any of the food. About the only problem can be how busy it can get on some nights. Service can be slow when there's more customer's. BUT, if it's not too packed, the bartenders are great. Most are well versed in the Whiskey that's on hand and are great at recommending ones based on what you're feeling like. Need something a little smoother, or a little darker? Stopped here on a recent visit to Findlay when we had a few hours to kill. Used Yelp to look for a place to eat and chose Logan's b/c of prior favorable Yelp reviews and were not disappointed; Irish boxty appetizer was great, as was the sheperd's pie. We have visited Logans quite a few times the latest being today for lunch. Our server was very welcoming. The seafood chowder is the best I've ever tasted. The only problem today was the Irish music they picked was very grating on the nerves. Usually like Celtic music but the fiddler was running amok. I will say that being English and raised there that the bangers and mash are simply awful. Nothing like British sausages which are not a bit like those at Logans and the gravy horrible. About the only failure on the menu and that's not good for an Irish Pub. Decor is beautiful and Logans is an asset to downtown Findlay. read more

This has absolutely become one of our favorite places in town. The lunch and dinner menu are great, but the real star for us has been the relatively new weekend brunch options. We have been back several times since our first visit, and my only regret is that it has taken me this long to write a review. The food has been absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend stopping in for the half order of the full Irish breakfast. It's all wonderful, and it's so much food I honestly am not sure how one person could eat a full order. Their version of biscuits and gravy is also fantastic. The food we ate here was amazing! We tried the fried cheese and boxty appetizers. Both were delicious!!!!! Boxty is a traditional Irish potato pancake. Since we got two appetizers we split one meal - the pork chops with an apple chutney with sides of champ potatoes and garlic green beans. One of the two pork chops was grilled to perfection but the second thicker one was still raw inside. They took it back and seared if for a while and also took $5 off of our bill so excellent customer service there! The green beans were also some of the best I have ever had the champ potatoes (also supposed to be an Irish tradition) were just plain mashed potatoes with some green onion garnish on top. They were not champ potatoes based on the several descriptions I read online. They were excellent mashed potatoes though. I do know that they have live music on some days though we did not experience that.They have a kids menu but there is not much seating for bigger groups of 5 or more which our family is. I think we will keep this a date night restaurant at least until the kiddos are bigger. read more

Food was descent but I thought the prices for alcohol and their food was too high. Our waitress didn't seem to know what beers were on special and when we ordered one she said was on special she charged us full price and said she was mistaken. my wife and i have been to Logan's to many times to count, we've even rented out the second floor for a birthday party, and we love this place. so far every time we've been there the food is spot on great. one thing we've noticed at most restaurants, is they never have a good kids menu. however Logan's is different. they have a good menu and if you want to do something different for the kids they have always made it happen happily. the kids also don't have to be told 100 times to eat there food when we are there they eat on there own because it's just good. between my wife and i, we have had everything on the menu and it's always been great. i've had the ruben many times and will have it many many more. i also love a place that has real beer on tap and real whiskey on the shelf. while reading other review i've seen comments about bad or lacking service. all i can speak to is every time we've been there we have had very good service. and even when they've been busy with a bit o patience (well within reason) we are seated with our food soon to follow, weekend or week day. the servers have always been great. very nice, friendly and helpful. bottom line for us is, for really good food cooked fresh in a great atmosphere with good service. give it a try. read more

Came in on a Wed. night, service was terrible, slow, inefficient, etc. Margaritas were sweet, and without any flavor. Burger that I order was 'bland', very ordinary, seafood chowder tasted like 'Campbell's Mushroom' with 1 shrimp and 1 scallop tossed in as an afterthought. We stopped in while we were walking in downtown Findlay kind of on a whim. My wife, daughter, granddaughter, and I were very impressed. My wife and I split a Reuben and a cape cod Reuben. The Reuben was one of the best I have ever had. It was the right mix of corned beef, sauerkraut, and dressing on my favorite marble rye bread. The cape cod Reuben had perfectly fried cod and their cole slaw on marble rye. The pub chips were crispy and not greasy and the onion rings had a good onion to breading ratio. We each had a Smithwicks that finished the meal well. We were both pleased immensely. My picky daughter absolutely loved her macaroni and cheese and my granddaughter (2 1/2 years old) loved her hot dog and waffle fries. The decor was very Irish and very pleasant. We sat in a nook that was nice and private and perfect for our lunch. The service was fast and efficient. We will definitely be back. read more

Passing through town, checked out some Yelp reviews and decided on Logan's. So glad we did! We got the beer battered sandwich (fish was tender, juicy and perfectly fried), and the Caesar salad with Salmon cooked medium, and also prepared perfectly. You can tell they put a lot of care in their food. Service was great too! I visited Logan's this weekend with my family and I was very disappointed with the service, the food and the drinks. Although there were only a few customers in the restaurant, it took forever for the waitress to take our order, only to have her forget our order, come back with some drinks but not all. The fish smelled awful, the cheese was cold and hard by the time it was served to us, and the meat looked like it was boiled. None of the food had any flavor (not even salt)! I was looking forward to enjoying a nice afternoon and finding a new spot to hang out but this was terrible and I will not go back. read more

First of all, yum. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is so calming for a quiet lunch after a crazy week, but I can see how it might get raucous and fun on the weekends! I had the Jameson BBQ chicken with salad and sauteed green beans, husband had Reuben with pub chips and daughter had their mac n cheese-we loved everything! the green beans just might be my favorite food ever! Crisp, hot, perfect amount of garlic...and the salad was "real" greens, not iceburg! LOL read more
