Atmosphere is better than expected for the location and the playlist was great. Service was ok, servers were nice and attentive but the timing of the food coming out was not great. The large pretzel appetizer was solid, the beer cheese was decent, they could add a little kick to if they want to step up their game. The cheese curd burger was a 4.1, cheese was mid, wasn't enough curds, and the beef was average at best. The last thing we had was the best thing, the pizza was very good. I was visiting at a friend's house in Freeport and we ordered for delivery. My friend received a call from Michelle who said, "My driver tried calling you twice and you never answered. She's been sitting outside with your order." My friend responded saying that she never received any calls and Michelle snapped back and told her, "I've been guilty of doing it too, not answering numbers that I don't know. I have screenshots showing that she called you." After composing ourselves from the shock of being talked to like that from an employee who CALLED US, the delivery driver arrived and apologized for calling the wrong number... the driver was very nice and professional. Our gripe is with Michelle, not the driver. The food itself was subpar. We ordered the Steak Street Tacos and it came with Mexican Corn. The meat was dry and the texture did not represent authentic street tacos, which I was most disappointed with. The corn was swimming in mayonnaise, which we had to drain out. Overall, if you're going to order from this restaurant, I recommend pickup because apparently a woman named Michelle takes screenshots of who the delivery drivers call. My only question is: if she could see the call log, why couldn't she verify that the number called was different from the contact number listed on the order? read more

Super friendly service and all bartenders and wait staff were wearing masks (customers not so much). Thursday night is $2.00 domestic 16-oz beers. Crazy prices. I went wild and order Corona for 3.25!! We started with a huge pretzel which was served with cheese and cooked to perfection. Also, got a bowl of chili. A really great flavor. Definitely check this one out. Then we moved on and husband ordered a chicken bacon wrap that was only meh. Though I loved my thin crust (super thin crust) pizza. The second time was a 50/50 thing because I ordered three different items, the chicken thighs had to be thrown away because they were beyond over cooked. The third time my pizza arrived 15 minutes late and cold. I shouldn't have to put slices of a freshly delivered pizza in a microwave. Looking for recommendations for a better pizza delivery. Wanted to try to support local instead of going to a chain restaurant, waited 20 minutes before even being asked what we want for drinks and before that, we were asked to move seats because of the "cold" from the door, when the new seats were actually colder. Finally ordered our food and waited quite a while until food came out. Then proceeded to wait 30 minutes as the wait staff chatted with regulars at the bar instead. Eventually had to get up and stand at the bar to pay and the woman who helped us forgot she helped us and said "those aren't mine" - all in all, horrible experience. 1 hour 30 minutes of a day wasted. Logan's is decent. Obviously there isn't a wealth of options when it comes to Freeport, but if you are looking for a decent atmosphere, nice service and good drink prices, Logan's has it. The bar is huge! Enough space to hold a private party, or wedding reception- whatever your fancy is. They occasionally have live bands - which they did when we were there and the band was really good. It made the night fun and enjoyable. They need to control the temp in the place though. I understand it is winter, but when I am sweating inside the bar, crack the door or turn on the air! I will come back, just because the prices are good and it is convenient. I wish the Sonic just outside would have remained open though. That would have made for some good drunk food! read more

Food was bleh. I had the wings which seemed old and smooshy. The reuben which was unimpressive. And I also had the French onion soup. The broth was ok but if you like traditional FO soup, don't get this one. This is one of those cheap knock offs with croutons and shredded cheese melted into the soup. Prices are good. I'm on the road for work & Logan's was recommended by a local. They were semi-busy when we got there. There were a lot of tables open but they seemed to have a hard time seating us. We placed our drink order & I never did get my water (did get our other drinks). Then we got a different server. My meal came out 15 minutes before my son's pizza. My steak was easily 1/3 gristley tough fat. I have a really unappetizing picture of this, but I'll spare you. I wasn't aware that ordering a baked potato would get me three boiled potatoes. They were good, just not what I ordered. My son loved the pizza. The iced tea was good. Maybe they were just busy? The condiment bottle brought to the table was crusted & really nasty. Service wasn't the best, the waitress didn't seem to care that we were there and it took her ten minutes to get back to us to take our order. We ordered the deep fried green beans as an appetizer and they were tasty! They weren't over cooked and they weren't soggy either. I was also impressed with the amount we received, definitely enough for three people. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was ok. The bun was too small for the chicken patty which made eating it a little awkward. There was way too much crumbled bleu cheese on it which too heavily offset the spicy buffalo sauce. The French fries came in a generous portion and were cooked appropriately, just average tasting. The establishment itself wasn't anything to rant and rave about either, it is a part of a little strip mall. The atmosphere had absolutely no character. It was 100% average at best. Nothing would make me recommend this place OR tear it down. It seriously gets a "C." I wasn't overly pleased with the meal, but it wasn't a total turn off either. From what I understand this place went through a bit of a rough patch not too long ago. I've seen the restaurant before and after the changes and it's nothing but good things. The lighting and decor have improved, and the new menu and atmosphere are much more inviting to families. Service can be a bit slow when they get busy, but not more than any other busy restaurant. This place is fine for what it is, and I respect it for being self aware enough to not be something it isn't. This is a bar first and an eatery second. The food offered is standard American Bar fare. There is a possibility that Logan's has the best burger in town, but that speaks more to the fact that Freeport is deprived of legitimate restaurant options. The bar itself is adequate and will get you where you need to go, but the food is pretty middling. read more

I was staying in the Freeport area recently and ordered from Logan's since they would deliver to the hotel we were staying at. I ordered a burger medium well and fries. When I bite into the burger is was RED completely through out and I just couldn't eat it, so I called explaining the problem. I wasn't rude, I just wanted another burger sent medium well. The person on the line was put off as I could tell by the tone of her voice. A second burger was delivered and the delivery person had instructions to retrieve and return the original burger (hmm..) Well I didn't eat the second burger either it was not rare but just this side of burnt and completely dried out. To be honest, I couldn't help wondering if they didn't spit in it. The salmon, which was really great, sweet potatoes, Cole slaw and two glasses of wine. I ordered the house Chardonnay, 9oz. When the check came I had been charged $11.75 for each glass of wine - that's $23.50 for two glasses of the house wine. The waitress said you'd recently changed the brand of the house wine and this was the new price. I should have simply refused to pay for it but I was too shocked.
