I had went there last night after the trapping show was over at the fairgrounds. It was packed and took a couple minutes to be seated. That didn't bother me at all as it was 7:00 pm. The waitress was very nice. There were four of us going. The food was came very fast. I had gotten the Thai Shrimp Salad and iced tea. Which was the best thing for my pescitarian needs. It was amazing but if you're not a fan for spicy foods I recommend the dressing on the side. Person #2 Got the Serlion, medium rare. They were very pleased with it, the steak had been cooked to near perfection. Person #3 Got 'Fish and Chips' and he had said it was the best he had in a while. Everything was amazing, it came with tartar sauce (optional). Person #4 Got Mozzarella Chicken and sangria. She had said the sangria was weak and tasted like it had nothing to it. I was sat promptly and that's where the good service ended. I ordered a cocktail, didn't get it til I was halfway through my mediocre at best meal. I had the all you can eat Shrimp, my plate was literally plopped down in front of me with 6 shrimp and like warm fries. No cocktail sauce, no ketchup on the table, no coleslaw was brought with my meal. I had to ask for it. Got the ketchup after I asked, never got the cocktail sauce. The server seemed overwhelmed. Tables around me got their food sporadically. One person's got their meal, the other person did not for about 15 minutes. I haven't been to an Applebee's in about 25 years. The moment you walk in, you know it's well managed. Staff is very polite and they're very attentive to the customers needs. Very clean. I had the Southwest chicken bowl. Came out hot and fresh, and very well seasoned. Our server was very kind and went the extra mile. Very reasonably priced. Definitely a return trip. read more

The wife and I each had an order of chicken tenders on November 19th at 6pm. By the time we got home both of us had tremendous stomach cramps which blew out to full blown salmonella. They won't hesitate to blame timing on the app. The app said the order will be ready at 7:12 I show up 5 minutes early called notified just as instructed. Here I'm watching others come and go wondering why my app order is not ready. 7 :30 still waiting called again and am told 4 orders ahead of me. Well shortly after tapping post. The food arrived. The flavors were right the textures were good. The service from the human was polite. I think the delay constitutes a different issue but the food was good enough it didn't make me sick. The only fries I got were the full-size order. The ribs were checked for fries. I don't believe I should be made to feel sorry for them at $40 a plate . No stars should be a choice. Seated immediately. Waited 30 minutes for 2 side salads. Had to request again for the ranch dressing originally ordered. The dressing had been severely watered down. Husbands dinner arrived 10 minutes later with watered down cheese flavorless chicken, and no bacon in the dish. Waitress explained my burger was delayed and didn't want his dish to get cold. Minutes later she came back to say it would be another 15 minutes on the burger. Canceled the burger. Needless to say we won't be back. We love Applebee's and ordered dinner to go tonight. I was given 4 bags and a drink. When I looked at the receipt I noticed it didn't have my name on it. They took all the bags back into the restaurant and I still had the drink. About 10 minutes later, a woman came out with the same bags and said they were mine, but it had the wrong receipt on it. Don't get me wrong - the food is good, but more times than not, it takes forever to get it. My family and I once waited over an hour to get our food.. Not to mention, it's not guaranteed you're going to get what you ordered. For example, when my mother gets steak, she always orders it well done. We often splurge because the Parmesan shrimp sirloin is our favorite. However we just sat in the parking space for curbside to go for 10 minutes as we watched two hostesses through the window stand and talk. My husband finally went in and said we had an order to go and the hostesses both said to "go to the bar." He then told them we actually had curbside to go and they looked at him and said "sorry." He proceeded to walk to the bar and get the food and he stood there for three employees to finish their conversation to acknowledge him. Said to say it's hard to pay that much for a steak and have service like that. My work often orders from Applebees so one night when they were ordering I ordered the chicken wonton tacos at the recommendation of a coworker. When the food arrived there were shells, sauce, coleslaw, but no chicken. I called about it and was given the manager who was very apologetic and offered many things as compensation if someone could come back and pick up the chicken. I said some coupons for something free would be fine. He told my coworker to ask for him personally when she arrived. When my coworker returned she had an envelope with 2 coupons for a free appetizer with purchase of an entree. She also said the manager never came out to talk with her. I've never been a huge fan of Applebees to begin with and this definitely won't help. I know it could've been worse but for how apologetic he was over the phone, I wasn't impressed with how it ended. I had dinner at Applebee's tonight. The salmon, which was really great, sweet potatoes, Cole slaw and two glasses of wine. I ordered the house Chardonnay. When the check came I had been charged $11. 75 for each glass of wine - that's $23.50 for two glasses of the house wine. The waitress said you'd recently changed the brand of the house wine and this was the new price. I should have simply refused to pay for it but I was too shocked. My experience at this restaurant was that of an enjoyable one. The atmosphere here is great with pictures of the local highschool athletics and music that is appealing to everyone. My server, Jeff, was a server that I would typically expect in a very pricey restaurant. He joked around with the members of our party and was very quick with drinks and the delivery of our food. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great. They had all the TV's on the different games that were going on. Had a gift card we needed to use. We haven't been to an Applebee's for 20 years and we know why. The waitress was anxious for us to order even tho we told her we weren't familiar with the menu. We ordered mozzarella sticks that someone handed us over the partition instead of serving it to us. They were ok. I ordered the shrimp and when we were finished with the meal I had a pile of breading on my plate....looked like I hadn't eaten anything. My husband had the lime chicken and it wasn't anything special. The rice on his plate was hard and dry. Unfortunately we didn't use up all of the gift card, so we may have to go back. Ugh! read more
