Do Not Recommend. On Day 10 with no AC. 8 months ago, Logan Services replaced the brand new HVAC they installed due to ongoing issues and multiple service and troubleshooting visits. At the time, we were very satisfied that they worked to make things right. We've had the current HVAC for 8 months and it has stopped working. A technician came Friday and confirmed that someone would be here Monday to fix it. No one has shown up. We called and they said we are not on the schedule and someone will get back to us. No one has returned our call. We are going on day 10 with no AC, receiving little to no communication and no sense of urgency. This is not what I expect after spending $18,000 and pay for their Maintenance Plan. We've now purchased portal AC units to get us by until this is fixed. I have little confidence in their products and services and would highly recommend you look elsewhere read more

Technicians came out for annual service. Found $1500 worth of issues on a unit that is less than 4 years old. Trane unit was sold to me as one of the best. I have had a maintenance contract since the purchase. Unit still under warranty. Prior visits by Logan revealed no issues. Technicians were pleasant but charges are for labor. I am not satisfied with the quality of the product that Logan sold me and feel that I can have done just as good or maybe even better, with a less costly unit. read more

This company has given me multiple estimates for repair of a 4 year old AC. Mostly tell me it must be or could be...one tech told me it was full of coolant and no leaks. 4 weeks later another tech tells me I am 2 lbs low but no leak.then the part they think it is ...it's the only part not covered by my 10 yr parts warranty. Then a rep told me when I called...oh it's covered. That near $1000 is labor. I tried to submit and pay the $1321 to suck up my loss...I just wanted assurance that if they are wrong, they would still fix it. Rep told me hateful that he can't see into the future. It took 5 calls and 11 days to even get that call back. Stay very far away from these people. I have a cousin who is certified in HVAC. No longer working in this industry but tells me his buddies report Logan as a huge debacle read more

Extremely Disappointed - Would Not Recommend We had a terrible experience with Logan AC & Heat. Our install on 6/16 took over 12 hours in 90+ degree heat. I'm 7 months pregnant, and at the end of this exhausting day, the crew informed us they were out of coolant--meaning the job wasn't actually finished. At 9PM, with the thermostat reading 86 degrees (after they turned the heat on to test it), we had no choice but to stay with family for the night. We were told we'd be a priority the next day--but we didn't hear from anyone until 7PM the following evening. That's over 48 hours without AC, during the hottest days of the year. To make matters worse, they weren't prepared to install our thermostat, used a dirty, mismatched plate from their truck, and left holes in our wall with no proper cover. We called immediately to express frustration and were promised follow-up. It took three weeks to get the wall addressed. Despite everything--being displaced from our home, dealing with unsafe heat, and the stress at this stage of pregnancy--we were offered a 1-year free service plan (for a brand new unit we likely won't need service on) and a $200 gift card. That doesn't come close to making up for the inconvenience, lack of communication, or disruption we experienced. We are extremely dissatisfied with both the installation and customer service. Logan will not be recommended to anyone we know. read more

He personally came, fixed everything and went beyond my expectations. Running a business is difficult. Dealing with people is hard. Greg addressed every concern and on a SATURDAY came and spent hours and hours here making sure everything was right. I trusted them to replace entire hvac and ducts, and a water heater, close to $18,000, had nothing but trouble since. They sold me to small of a system for my house, finally swapped it out for correct size. Kept lying to me about a $200 gift card I was promised, it took almost a month to get that. They even told me it was sent several times. But when that came , I guess they forgot that the post office stamps the date on when it was mailed out. lol horrible! The last time it was brought up I talked to them on Friday and it came on Monday. I just can't believe a business would lie like that, knowing they would get caught. A woman I spoke to treated me so rudely, and acted like I was lying and was just trying to get something for free! I even said I would pay the difference on the bigger unit. Now, one year later, my equipment is malfunctioning, and the tech said it would be $219 just to look at it!! I guess they just love taking advantage of people. Sorry to say they are leaving my neighbor high and dry. New system in December and here it is mid August and it doesn't work. As if that isn't bad enough the neighbors have their father with emphysema and cancer living there. No AC. I would think using a small company would mean them going above and beyond and getting you temporary cooling or heating for the elderly and sick when they have to wait on a part. NO. For Logan it means you are SOL. Myself and all other neighbors will not be using them. God help our neighbors the Williams. read more

As of January 21, 2026 Logan has left my neighbor with no heat since Friday the 17th and are not scheduled to come back until January 29, 2026 over a blower motor. The temperatures have been in the lower 20s and teens. My neighbor is a 77 year old military veteran of the Vietnam War. My neighbor bought his AC/Furnace combo new from Logan approx. 8 years ago to the tune of well over $10000 so you would think they could do better over a blower motor. Shame on you Logan, anybody could hot wire in a temporary blower motor. As I wright this review it is 21 degrees outside and 48 degrees in his house per space heaters. Shame, Shame, Shame! read more

Logan installed our HVAC about 6 years ago. The units are under service contracts and we had had a great experience with their maintenance teams. They explain what they are doing and why and we always feel that they are not rushed to get to the next customer and take the time to answer any questions we might have. scheduled an appointment for service on unit. I was given an 8 hour window causing me to take the day off work. They decided to call 5 hours into that window to tell me they weren't coming and I needed to reschedule. They refused to work within the hours I was available. no weekend appointments available. I understand that things happen and changes need to be made, I however do not feel that it is acceptable to not make concessions to my schedule by giving me a time that they will arrive for a reschedule. I am told that if I am not here, I am charged and will have to reschedule. They were the ones to cancel after 5 hours on the day of the appointment, they should be able to at the very least schedule for the first appointment of the day! Update...I was contacted a few hours later and was able to get an appointment scheduled and a convenient time. I appreciated that they took the time to contact me and assist by working within my schedule. As stated previously, I understood that there are emergency situations that can cause delays and or cancelations that are unforseen. I appreciate that they were able to work within my availability to reschedule the appointment. read more

They came and installed a new unit. Unit never shut off. It's been 5 days and they have had 5 separate techs including the original 2 that installed come to fix it. Today makes the 4th time coming out and it was the supervisor tech said it was wired wrong but is now working. Been less than an hour since he left and unit not working at all. Don't ever think you'll be able to reach or talk to anyone other than the people that scheduled service. I wouldn't recommend them to put in a window unit. read more

My elderly parents had Logan Services install a replacement AC unit in 2016. Since that time they have been doing seasonal preventive maintenance visits. System always blew cold air in summer and house heated reliably in the winter. Parents never had a service call and notable callouts were handled during pm visits. I would say Logan Services was good at providing the service requested, and in turn my parents are good customers with warrantied equipment. On July 15th, there was scheduled seasonal preventive maintenance for the AC unit. Unit had not issues, blew cold air, but just a summer time checkup. Technician arrived 3 hours late, and once onsite found unit running fine but informed my mother that the capicitor would soon need to be changed and that he had one with him to perform the 'repair'. She OK'd him replacing the part since technician suggested. Once the capicitor was replaced, technician could not get unit to start back up. He spent from 4p to roughly 9p trying to get system started. Finally around 10:30p a second tech arrived onsite and worked until around 1am with no success in starting unit. My parents have not had a working AC unit since before Logan Services arrived on July 15th. Logan Services has shown no sense of urgency in repairing an issue that one of their technicians has caused. When diagnosing parts needed, they don't even have the courtesy of expediting them. I have said I will pay for parts to be next day air to no avail. I've asked for a branch manager to give us a call but to no avail. If my parent's address was in Indian Hill, Amberly Village, Hyde Park, etc., they would at least have gotten an apology for the inconvenience. Because the equipment is warrantied we have to let this play out at the turtle pace that it is. But I guarantee, not a technician, salesperson or owner of Logan Services would say that this treatment of their parents would be suffice. read more

When I saw the low score, this company had on yelp, I had to write a review. Ridiculous. Logan Services replaced our HVAC system that was 20 years old, rusty, inefficient, and loud. Their sales person, Matt, came to our home and discussed all the options. The installation team was outstanding. Our old furnace had to be completely ripped out. It was located in a separate room in our finished basement. Their team was very careful with our home during this rip out, and we had absolutely no damage to any walls or carpeting. Matt even reached out to me in the middle of the day during the install to ask me if I was satisfied with how the team was doing. They did a fantastic job with the install. Within the first month, we saw the efficiencies gained from our new system. Not only are we saving money, but this new system is so quiet!! The house no longer shakes when the HVAC system turns on! I highly highly recommend Logan services if you are looking for a company to do a quality job with a new HVAC system in your home! read more

Our experience with Logan Services was very disappointing. I told Andy (the Logan salesperson) in person and in writing that we would like to keep our analog thermostat, instead of getting a new, smart thermostat (we already have a smart thermostat for an existing system, and we prefer the analog functionality). He said of course. On installation day, the installer informed me that the new system required a smart thermostat. So we had to accept a new, smart thermostat. The detailed quote Andy provided for the replacement of our A/C and heating units included a manufacturer rebate and tax credit that would be refunded to us after the installation. The system we selected would be eligible for a $1400 rebate and a $1200 tax credit on our 2024 return. Three days after our installation, the Logan office called to follow up on the new system. I asked at that time how I could claim the manufacturer's rebate, because there wasn't a form or application in any of the paperwork I received. I was told that Logan would apply for the rebate and I should receive it in 6-8 weeks. It is now more than 8 weeks later, and I have not received anything from Trane. Now Logan claims that the rebate must have already been applied to the cost of our system. This is not true. The price Logan quoted remained the same from the original quote to the final invoice, and it did not include a deduction for a rebate. I do not recommend doing business with Logan. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! They only have 2.5 stars for a reason. I have a train that was improperly installed, they came out to replace a bolt that they forgot when installing. Still making horrible noise, called back to be told they can not come back out without someone being home even though they do not need to get in the house and no one was home the last time they came out. I could not get past the entry level CSR supervisor. Its their company policy not to give out any names of management.....really? I called 5 times and went on line to try and speak to someone else. I looked up the service managers name the next day on line who I finally got a hold of and when I explained what horrible service I had and I was willing to give him a change to get someone out before I went to the BBB he said THEY WILL NO LONGER SERVICE US. Thousands of dollars spent and still under warranty and wont come back out to fix what was not right in the first place. UPDATE: I just had JM Mechanical Heating and Cooling come out to take a look at my problem. They fixed it in an hour and, SURPRISE, I didn't have to spend $7500 on a new central and outdoor unit like Logan told me I would. Whoever hired the receptionist at Logan really needs to reconsider their decision, the receptionist is blatantly driving away good business. So glad I didn't let Logan step foot in my house. Original post: The receptionist, of all people, told me I would have to buy an all-new hvac system simply because my unit is older than what they 'prefer'. She somehow determined this before even letting me describe what the problem is with my current unit. I have a small drip leak coming from a copper line that isn't even part of the actual hvac unit. Steer clear, they only want to sell new units regardless of the condition of your current unit. read more

My 84 yo father had Logan come out to repair his 11-12 yo Trane. The engine in the variable speed fan was out. Logan said they ordered the part from N Carolina and it would be 2 weeks before arrival. My dad called 3 times to make sure service appointment still on and we were told the part was at a local warehouse and tech would pick up in morning and be out for scheduled appointment. In the meantime he has been without heat and using portable heaters. The day of appointment we discovered part was not in with no idea when it would arrive. Communication was non-existent. They could put in an entire new unit for $15,000. We've now found another person who can come this weekend and fix it. Every time my dad called they always told home we will check and call you back. They did call at 3:15 the day before appointment to reschedule. I do not recommend their service read more

The technical was well dressed, polite, knowledgeable and highly efficient. He didn't try to blow smoke up our nose or sell us something we didn't need. We replaced our A/C and Furance with Logan two years ago. We also purchased the maintenance plan for both the AC and Furnace. Today, 10/27/2021. I called to scheduled the fall maintenance on the furnance. My current scheduled appointment is for 01/04/2022. There is a possibilty that I might get serviced earlier if there is a cancelation. It is a disappointing that I have to wait two months for a maintenance appointment. I am reconsdering renewing the maintenance agreement. read more

We are replacing our 20 yr old heating and cooling system. Logan had the lowest bid, but the high pressure greasy car salesman approach turned us off. They are all about volume as they sell through home Depot. I'd avoid at all cost. Too many other companies in town with competive pricing and no pressure sales. read more

How to rate a company when they try to sell you a defrost board that you don't need. My technician had little motivation to crawl under the house and work in the rain. He did neither. He did pull the cover off if the outside unit, looked at it, did not test anything, decided that he didn't need to go under the house to check the breakers because the unit had power. He didn't like my asking questions and he certainly did not impress me as having the knowledge to actually fix my heat pump. They wanted me to order the board, but based upon the technician and his inability to properly diagnose and resolve the issue I called a different service, Griffins Heating and Cooling, they came out, checked and tested, went under the house and found that it was a breaker issue. Flipped the switch and voila, I had heat. Even though I called and complained to Logan about the lack of diagnostics, Logan still charged their service fee. Lesson learned. read more

Logan installed the new furnace at my home and I purchased a two-year maintenance plan. I made the first appointment of the day to have the first annual service performed, 8:00 and took off work. At 8:20, the technician still had not arrived, so I called the Logan office. Sat on hold for five minutes, during which time the technician finally pulled up outside the house. I hung up (call still unanswered) and waited for him to come to the door. For 10 minutes, he sat out in his truck and texted on his phone. He finally came to the door and blamed his lateness on being on call over the weekend. I showed him to the basement, and it was completely quiet for 15 minutes, so I went downstairs to see if there was a problem. Of course, he hasn't started. He's texting on his phone again. So now we are 45 minutes past the start of my appointment time and nothing has been done. He finally starts the service, finishes, and tells me will finish the paperwork and bring it to me. Twenty minutes later, I can still see him sitting in his truck, TEXTING! I walked out to the truck and demanded my invoice so I could leave for work. Seriously, Logan, absolutely no respect for people's time. I did receive a survey from Logan and gave them the exact same feedback. Haven't heard a peep. read more
