I was in the bridal party at a wedding here and was less than impressed. I witnessed the owner being very attentive to our bride and groom needs before the wedding, then saw her essentially back out on her word when day came. The day before, I watched her promise our bride that her staff would light candles, and set up a couple last minute decorations. Then when the other bridesmaids and I followed up she would say that's not my responsibility or decorations are not in my contract. I watched her promise the bride she would have chairs and a folding table brought over to her room for hair and make up the morning of the wedding but we never received them. I was with the bride when she clearly explained to the owner that she wanted the cake out for view during the entire event. It took me five reminders to get the owner to set up the table and linens for the cake. She didn't end up doing it until guests were arriving and the bakery was there, waiting. She's a lot of talk and not a lot of action, with a very fake personality. Her only saving grace is that the guest rooms we stayed in are very very clean, and have nice touches like fridges, card games, water, and snacks. All in all though she needs to work on her customer relations. If you don't want to offer a specific service that's fine, just don't promise it. read more
