We were invited to the clubhouse to try the food, where we were able to sit down, have a nice meal, sample the different options, and make our selections from there. After cooking our food, Alex spent some time getting to know us and understanding what we were looking for with our catering. He talked through our wedding plans, our schedule, the atmosphere we wanted, and the little details that would help everything fit naturally into the day. Alex was also incredibly accommodating. We had mentioned wanting a pretzel bar, and he went out of his way to source one specifically for us. He coordinated the glassware and cloth napkins, handled the catering table and presentation, and made sure everything looked great when guests arrived. His attention to detail went beyond the food. As we got closer to the wedding, he checked back in with us about his setup schedule and timing on site to make sure his team could make a plan to get setup without disturbing the wedding ceremony. He was even thinking about things like staying out of the background of photos and making sure catering activity did not distract from important moments. He had considered things that we hadn't thought of and I really appreciated his guidance and tips. The food itself was a huge hit. We went with barbecue, burgers, hot dogs, sides, and local sauces, and during the reception his team actually kept the grill manned for us so guests could get fresh burgers and hot dogs right off the grill. People absolutely loved that. They setup a grazing table where guests could grab appetizers to enjoy with cocktail hour. The presentation was great and matched the aesthetic of the wedding. His entire team was friendly, professional, and easy to have around throughout the event. Alex did a great job of taking what we envisioned and figuring out how to make the catering fit naturally into the wedding rather than simply showing up and serving food.
