Hey folks this is a great park. Useful for bringing the kids of all ages and your dogs for walks and doing their sh* duties. There's a dedicated parking lot that accommodates 25 cars or so. I noticed a half basketball court with concrete surface and less than stellar back board and rim. Baseball diamond and room to throw the frisbee or softball, or kick a soccer ball. Grass is groomed and looking okay. There's a neat sand pit with some scooper machines to use. Negative- No bathroom facilities for the humans. Not even a honey bucket porta potty.

Picnic tables were available for sharing meals and placing our bags/items as we watched the children play, discover, explore. The parking lot is tiny and easily, quickly gets backed up, so pack lightly and park on a neighboring street.

There's a lot to like about this park. My two biggest problems with it though are parking and drainage. There are maybe a dozen parking spaces for the park and the parking lot itself is relatively narrow. So what that means is on a nice day there's a good chance that you'll get there and there won't be any parking available and turning around will be problematic. There is residential parking on the backside of the park, but it can be hard to find if you're unfamiliar with the area. You're better off parking at the elementary school down the street and walking over, rather than trying to find the side-street parking. The draining problem is my biggest problem with the park. There is a large grassy field, which is perfect for running around and different "ball" sports; however, the park definitely holds onto all recent moisture for far too long. I've been to the park a number of times 3+ days after it's rained, when temperatures have been well over 70+ degrees and our feet end up getting soaked through our shoes if we spend too much time in the grass - there's also a chance of "slippage" as well if running through it too. The covered picnic areas are spacious, though both are in a "dark" area and look a little bit dirty. Because of the drainage problems, there sometimes are puddles, with what looks like oil (?) deposits in it as well - so we've had to keep children away from those a number of times. The play area is nice - there are two sets of swing sets and a small and large slide. I feel like the play area could be bigger, due to the size of the park and the population of Lynnwood, but it's not bad. There is also a small sprinkler area with a handful of sprinklers for children on a hot day. All-in-all, it's not a bad park to check out, but it definitely has its flaws.
