Use to be a great park I would have given 5 stars till this year, Transient hobo people have taken over the picnic area always sitting there smoking or sleeping on tables last time I walked though some hobo guy had bicycle parts all over the tables using it for his chop shop,
There are often hobo's living in cars or motor homes in the parking lot and perhaps drug dealers hanging out, sad to see this happen to our park no longer feel safe going here and no longer feel it is a safe park to take kids to.
One last thing the walking trail has been poorly kept up this year trash along the trail and vandalized trees with paint or something on them also lots of damaged vegation where people have walked off trails.
9/9/2017 update:
Place has gotten even worse over the summer transient hobo's camping out and living in the bushes, saw one just this morning with a camp set up sleeping in a sleeping bag, this evening hobo's were using the BBQ grill in the picnic area for a camp fire, had a large fire going in it with a pile of wood piled up to burn they collected in the park, can't believe the city does nothing about this, also back in July saw transient girl on walking trail standing there naked from waist down such a great place to take the kids, Lynnwood is very fast become a very undesirable place to live.
12/20/2017 update:
Hobo's still hanging out in the park in winter weather, so creepy some sleeping in the bushes today, another hobo on a bicycle throwing Christmas cards he stole out of near by residents mail boxes all over the trail and in the bushes after he opens them no doubt searching for money and gift cards, still shady looking people hanging out in the parking lot in parked cars.
3/27/2018 update:
Walking trail from 60th Ave. into the main park has not been cleaned up in months concrete at beginning of walkway is still covered in last fall's leafs wet, slimy, have come close to falling several times there glad to see the pile of woman's used underwear at the beginning of the trail is finally gone after it laid there for weeks, trail is muddy after raining in bad need of some gravel or sand, tons of pines cones on trail never cleaned off you will twist your ankle if to careful, walking trail leads up a hill kind of a patio area there piles of tree limbs hobo's have dragged up there trying to build a lean-to shelter or something really shocked the parks department has left that there for 2 months now what a mess.
