My husband and I used Logan Dependable Ride to and from Logan for a trip last week, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience. We had a very early pickup - 3:45 am - and the driver, Mo, was right on time (even a few minutes early) and extremely pleasant. The car was clean and comfortable, Mo was an excellent driver (unlike many other taxi drivers we've had in Boston), and he got us to the airport quickly and smoothly. While we were away, I emailed to confirm our pickup, and received an email back promptly. They even emailed us again to check that the arrival time I had given them was correct - and it turns out I had indeed given them the wrong time, and they clearly had thought to check the arrival time against the flight number I gave them. Once we landed, we headed right outside (no checked luggage to pick up) and our driver was there within seconds (even though, as he told us, the online flight tracker had said our flight hadn't landed yet!). As for the pricing, we found it very reasonable and about the same as a regular taxi would have cost us. Again, we couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience. Travel in this day and age can be very stressful and it was delightful to have ground transportation to and from the airport that caused us no trouble at all. We will use this company exclusively in the future for all of our airport transportation needs. read more

Yippee! Finally an excellent, clean, reliable, prompt, reasonably-priced car service to go to and from Logan! I live in Jamaica Plain and it's nearly impossible to find a combination of all those (those that are clean and reliable are expensive; the ones that are reasonably-priced are unreliable and/or dirty). I tried Logan Dependable Ride in another attempt to find a service that combined all those attributes and struck gold. I called to make a reservation and spoke with a very pleasant, courteous and efficient man. [Don't be fooled by his accent; he speaks and understands English fluently.] Since I needed a 4:30 a.m. pick-up I jokingly apologized to him for the hour, and he said not to worry, they were used to it. When I said that I wasn't, and hoped I'd wake up on time, he actually offered to give me a wake-up call, and did! Can you imagine? When the car arrived, it was a late model sedan, clean and well-cared for. It could have been from a far more expensive car service. The driver was well-dressed and courteous, and again spoke excellent English, although clearly as a second language. He didn't have his credit card machine with him, but unlike some services when that happens, who then demand cash, he suggested I speak to their office and give them the credit card information. He helped me with my bag and was as pleasant as could be. While I was away (out of the country) I received an e-mail saying they must have misunderstood my credit card number and it didn't go through, but I didn't need to do anything as they would get it from me when they picked me up on the return I had booked. Again, imagine! On my return, I called when the plane landed and although I was first off the plane and didn't have to wait for luggage the car was there when I went to the waiting area. It was a different car and driver, again late-model car, clean, well-kept, and the driver courteous. While I was in the car, his cell-phone rang. He didn't answer it, but looked at the phone to see who was calling. He then asked me if I minded if he made a very quick call, as it was a client of the car service calling, and he liked to return those calls promptly. Otherwise, he said, he wouldn't use his cell phone while driving. When was the last time you heard that? As far as price, it was roughly comparable to what I've paid for a metered taxi -- when I've had no other alternative and been brave or foolish enough to rely on one of those to show up on time when I needed to make a plane. All in all, I'm hoping all of you out there, especially in areas like JP, Rozzie, West Roxbury, and the like who are inside the city line but have a hard time finding reliable, well-run, courteous transportation to and from Logan, will try these folks. They told me they started up about a year-and-a-half ago, and I'd sure like them to be successful as they work very hard to provide and outstanding service. Though a little uncertain at first since I had never heard of them, I contacted Logan Dependable Ride to return our distinguished guest speaker to Logan after a day on campus and seminar presentation. The phone was answered by Munir, who proved to be patient, attentive to details, and obviously concerned for the customer experience being a positive one from start to finish--even though it took a second phone call for me to ultimately decide to seal the deal. On my second phone call he was just as helpful and attentive, and we finalized our reservation for a 6:45 PM pickup the next day. Our distinguished guest reported shortly after her ride that the driver from LDR was prompt, professional, and efficient in getting her from Cambridge to Logan Airport with plenty of time to spare before her departure.
