The clientele tends to be the biker fans and I mean this as in what to expect, more than forewarning. Walking in the front door you will need to go around a pool table and perhaps pause to allow the player take their shot. You'll need to pick your own seats, inside or outside. The bar is largely open to the outside and has a leisurely atmosphere. I chose a seat near the front of the bar looking out toward Lake Erie. Our server (Boots) doubled as the bar tender. Boots was polite and efficient. She was very familiar with the menu and was able to answer any questions. For an appetizer we settled on the Cheese Curds. We had two craft beers from a modest list. The beers were cold and hit the spot. The curds arrived shortly thereafter. They were hot and tasty, accompanied by a side of ranch. I had the Cajun Shrimp Burger (medium) and a side of Tater Tots. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Wrap with the Fair French Fries on the side. Our entrees arrive in a timely manner. She was satisfied with her wrap, saying it was "good". If you aren't familiar with what a "fair french fry" is and I would be in that group, they are thinly sliced potatoes. Thicker than a shoestring and thinner than a standard fry. They are deep fried until brown. My burger was overcooked to well done. I didn't get much Cajun flavor but it was a good looking sandwich. The shrimp were large. Even with the negatives, it was good! The tots were perfectly cooked. As stated earlier I've eaten here several times and never been disappointed and the prices are reasonable. Give it a try!

Very busy place, so service was a bit slow. This establishment serves alcohol & food. The bar was a tad under stocked. My wife enjoys a couple of lime slices in her cocktail (vodka & tonic). They had no limes, but yet a full bar? I enjoy Southern Comfort manhattans, on the rocks. Our barkeep was unfamiliar with the cocktails ingredients. I told him it included vermouth, he informed me they had no vermouth. I ended up enjoying a Comfort & Coke! After our drinks were secured we started on the front patio, but soon retreated to the rear patio as several of the front patio tables were broken, and were unsafe. We also ordered food and it took quite awhile ( 1 hour+), for 2 tuna fish sandwiches and fries/chips. Again, we believe there was only one cook on duty and the place was busy. We enjoyed the rest of our evening here, particularly after the band began playing around 8:00 PM. All in all, a fun night with family in this GREAT resort town!

Wife and I came here years ago and had a really super meal...this time, not so much. Kinda like a…read moredivey style seafood restaurant, but the real "star of the show" is the shooting gallery behind the bar. It is an original piece of equipment from the famed Coney Island amusement park in New York City from the early 1900's. It was brought to Geneva-On-The-Lake in the late 1930's and installed in its current location as part of a small amusement gallery where it was eventually covered over and forgotten. Some time in the early 2000's (during a renovation of the space) it was uncovered and brought back to life. It still works to this day, and the owners were delighted to crank it up for us to see. As for the food, sadly the meal left a lot to be desired. The house salad to start was just fine topped with a balsamic dressing, but the smoked lobster dip and the lobster lasagna were just not good. You could hardly taste any lobster in the dip, and the lasagna was too oily, did not have enough cream sauce and did not taste super fresh. The other couple dining with us that evening was also less than impressed with their meal selections...so although the nostalgia factor was high, our dining expectations were not met.

When we walked in, it was pretty empty, but did end up filling up. They have some local wines, which was nice, and an interesting menu. The decor is a mish mash, with a creepy lobster tank that may be inhabited by the Babadook, and a still functioning shooting gallery wall behind the bar. No shooting, but they turn it on about every 20 minutes and all the pieces move while creaking and squeaking. I ordered the Apple Salad and the walleye special, and was pleasantly surprised with both. The salad had a house honey lavender dressing that went well with the apples and carrots, seemed fresh, and was a nice portion size. The walleye was a generous portion, well cooked, cajun style, and served with garlic and oil spaghetti. I enjoyed my entree quite a bit. My friends were less enthused with their entrees, both prepared well, but smaller portion sizes. It's an interesting place, and maybe worth a visit for a drink or appetizer. Again, I did enjoy my food, but the overall experience was interesting.
