Love this spot. If you come early enough you can chill and have your coffee. The service was so good. They were so knowledgeable and friendly. The almond croissant was huge and delicious. The Salted Caramel Latte is my go to when I come. Thank you so much Lofty Coffee for your hospitality and delicious coffee. Definitely made my morning that much better.

Apple pie pop tart and cold brew

I am obsessed with this place. Great spot to hang out when the weather is nice and it's not far from my office in the Columbia District. Best part: they make tons of fresh gluten free baked goods in house. Fresh bread for toast, matcha donuts, season mini loaves, cookies and "pop tarts."

Came here and unfortunately, left disappointed. Such a cute open air coffee shop. We came here two mornings in a row. Both days there was a bit of a wait. The first day there were out of a syrup so the person working told us it would be in stock the next day. We got other cold brews, and they were fine. The next day we came back, and the experience overall was tough. We got our drinks right away, but they forgot to put in our food order, so we stood there waiting for a really long time. Overall, normal cold brew, but nothing to wow me with a $10 coffee.

Came in for a quick stop before we hit road, had pretty good reviews. The coffee shop itself was okay looking. In a way reminded me of Disneyland pym kitchen where the bar is and then the chairs and tables. I ordered a mint matcha , and usually I'm love it at urth it's amazing. Gotta say it was not a bright green color, it looked muddy, and it was hella grimy. Maybe from the almond milk it comes with. I got a matcha donut, and the donut itself was good. I liked it, but the topping on top is a bit much. It's match with floral and then random pistachios on top. Wasn't a fan either. The baristas were super nice, but their drinks weren't it. I'd like my money back, buttt too late to ask for a refund.

Kyoto-style cold brew

LOVE this coffee spot, there's great variety and good service. I ordered the Kyoto-style cold brew which had a nice house-made banana peanut butter cold foam. Sooo delicious! Perfect spot to enjoy your coffee, and people watch. There's plenty of seating available outside. Also ordered the avocado toast with poached egg, big portion and perfect complement to the coffee. Highly recommend this gem!

Great location downtown, nice outdoor seating, some along the street, some in a patio area above the street a few steps. Located on the corner there are plenty of people to watch hustle about during the easy morning commute. Coffee is excellent, if you are having a bite there are free refills. There is cream and raw sugar, but no Splenda or equal. I ordered the hummus and avocado toast, on a croissant (they were out of artisan bread). This was an excellent breakfast. A nice fresh meal with excellent coffee, beats a coffee and reheated snack from that other coffee chain.

A nice coffee shop in Little Italy with a cute ambiance. Just be prepared for big lines and long waits on weekends, especially on farmers market days. I wanted a classic matcha latte, but they only offered a mint‑mixed matcha. The employee said it was subtle and refreshing, so I gave it a try. The wait was long, but the drink was pretty -- it came with a mint leaf garnish, which was a nice touch. Flavor‑wise, it just wasn't for me, but it was refreshing and lightly minty, not overpowering. They have a great outdoor seating area and food options too, though I didn't try the food this time. I'd come back if I was already in the area and it wasn't so busy.

Service is a 10+, everyone is always so welcoming and so kind. Food and coffee is incredible... it's always a plan on my visits to Little Italy.

Delicious coffee and food that never disappoint! Everything tastes fresh, and the menu has a great variety whether you're grabbing a quick drink or something more filling. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. There's plenty of seating, which makes it a comfortable spot to relax or get some work done, and the free WiFi is a nice bonus. Definitely recommend for a cozy café with great vibes!

We stopped by this charming café in Little Italy for breakfast. We ordered the açaí bowl, a croissant sandwich with egg, sausage along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. The açaí bowl was refreshing, topped with fresh fruit and crunchy granola. The croissant sandwich was buttery and flaky, with the savory egg and sausage balanced by the subtle sweetness of the jam. Both the vanilla latte and cappuccino were smooth, rich, and expertly made. They also have a lovely outdoor patio, making it a perfect place to relax, enjoy breakfast, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Little Italy.

It was very busy on a Sunday. The cold brew tasted watered down so I didn't feel like it was worth it, especially it being $9.

Turkey and avocado croissant, cloudy cold brew

Cute coffee shop with lots of outdoor seating. I ordered a turkey and avocado croissant and a cloudy cold brew. The sandwich was so tasty with tons of avocado and the most flaky croissant. Delish. The coffee was very big with cold foam on top, not too sweet, perfect way to start the day. The staff were friendly and very approachable, very kind team. Fast service too!!

Upon arriving, a male host informed us that there would be a 25 minute wait to be seated at a table, but that we could sit at an outdoor counter and wait for our table to be ready. We happily agreed before being approached by a hostess named Madison, who told us that she preferred that those counter seats be left open and that we should wait elsewhere for our table to be ready. Mind you, there were about 6 open stools at this counter, and people were not being seated there. I thought this was strange, and that the hostess was quite rude, standoffish, and dismissive, but we abided by her request and left the restaurant. After forty minutes, we received a text that our table was ready. We returned to this restaurant (and yes those stools were still open), only for Madison to sit us at the bar. This was upsetting because we were told that we were waiting for a table and we wouldn't have waited so long for bar seating. My friend approached Madison and asked if we could sit at a table. Madison responsed, "well, the bar is what is available". My friend then informed her that we wouldn't have waited 40 minutes for bar seating, especially since we were guaranteed a table. Madison looked at my friend, looked at her tablet, and then looked my friend dead in her eyes and said, "actually, you only waited 36 minutes" before turning back around. Impeccable. What a delight! We then spoke to another host who was able to immediately seat us at a table. Imagine that. The manager came over to apologize to us by stating that our experience with Madison does not define their restaurant, which unfortunately for them, is untrue. If there is anything that represents a business, it is your employees, but I digress. Thank you to our server for the birthday pin, dessert, and espresso martini for my friend. My fried rice with vegan eggs and soyrizo was delicious. My friend enjoyed her quesabirria. We didn't like our cocktails at all so I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good drinks. The food was good and the interior is beautiful, but I would not return. 40 minute wait on a Monday afternoon, I can't even imagine the weekends. Madison, I hope that this is a temporary job. Hospitality is not for you.

Food: - Flat iron steak: delicious and super tendy with a nice crust. Came with an arugula salad - Fish of the day: today was rock fish with a creamy panang/thai sauce and it was DELICIOUS - Duck: my table's favorite dish. You can make your own tiny tacos and the macha chili was seriously the best thing ever - French fries: nice horsestring fries, cant go wrong - Tuna crudo: super light and citrusy and flavorful, but only like 5-6 pieces - Chicken skewers: this honestly fell really flat. Would not recommend, i'd say it's the worst thing on the menu and surprisingly fell short. Doesnt feel like it belongs on the menu. - Brussel Sprouts: really good and unique with a peanut butter sauce - Mac and cheese: yummy but nothing special Overall was a great experience but I'd probably only come here on special occasions. Their drinks were also fantastic - the cantaloupe was super tasty. Shoutout Ola for being the best waiter!

The happy hour stand outs for me were the: - lamb meatballs $12 - this was the unanimous favorite amongst us, the flavors and juiciness of the meat was great ($4 per ball) - pork belly bao buns 3 for $16 - succulent and tender meat that basically melts in your mouth bc the fat in the best way, and the buns were super soft as well I enjoyed the flavor "crispy" brussel sprouts $10 but the texture was no where near crispy, they were cooked thoroughly but kinda mushy. The steak $25 was ordered as medium rare and was a bit too rare for our liking. But the fries were nice and crispy. The worst thing about the meal was the mac and cheese $8. We all tried it and agreed that it had issues with it being bland and having no depth of flavor, and the cornflake crumble tasted like old oil and stale cereal. Everyone's least favorite item of the night. ---- Notes: - we sat inside and there's not much air flow, it got pretty stuffy and hot during our meal - service was very attentive and charismatic, Dalton did a great job helping with allergy concerns - They were kind enough to split the bill in 3 but unfortunately charged me for an extra beer and I didn't notice it until after we had left - parking was okay, able to find paid street parking around the area ---- Overall: I reallyyyy wanted to like this place more, and I will probably give it another chance in the future bc I see such great potential. The food was just inconsistent btwn dishes with some being amazing and others subpar. If you want to try this place out definitely go on a Wednesday for their all-day happy hour bc their food at their regular prices wouldn't be worth it in my opinion.

I had a view inside where the bar is, and I saw a lot of servers, many of them just standing around so it was annoying that we had not gotten anyone to check in on us. Finally around 10:07 someone came to check in and tell us there was a "mix up". We just ordered our food, which we shared the cure. Then another server came to check in again. Which interestingly enough, he served a table across from us who got sat down way after us. The food was okay. The gravy was the best part. The bacon was not crispy, needed more time to cook. Some of the tater tots were good while others were way too toasted. The eggs were meh. We spent $31 on ONE dish and bad service and yes we left a tip even after that service.
