If you are a petite person, you know how difficult it can be to find clothes that are both age-appropriate and well-fitting. WHBM has fulfilled this for me. The store has an interesting selection of clothes that is decidedly feminine and adheres to a somewhat limited color palette. Maybe the most interesting thing is how polarizing the clothes were for me--generally I either hated something or really liked it. They definitely utilize vanity sizing, so know the clothes run small and you will probably end up buying smaller sizes than you typically do. The service was very attentive and thorough. The price point of this store is definitely higher than I typically pay, so I was especially glad for the good service. The girl who helped me not only set aside everything I wanted to try on, but picked out some other items based on the styles and sizes I had selected. Sure, probably a technique to sell more, but I liked that personalized touch. She checked in with me periodically while I tried stuff on and brought additional items as needed. I left satisfied with my purchases and fully plan to return to this store. I won't be shopping there frequently, but probably when I need to get more work clothes. Seriously, thank goodness for stores like this. I have had too many experiences trying on women's clothes that make me look like a kid playing dress up or juniors clothes that make me look ridiculous/like someone who should not be employed. If any of these experiences mirror your own, check this place out.

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I EVER EXPERIENCED! Called earlier…read morein the day to see if they had any wedge sandals (needed next day for work event). Riley answered the phone and gave me a quick review of what they had in store and made me realize I better stop in. When I got there, she helped me find the perfect pair. Although they were a half size bigger than what I would have ordered and a different color than I had in mind, they ended up being the perfect Sorel wedge sandal and now I'm obsessed. I also was able to use my 30% off bday coupon, which you can use pretty much everything (excludes Birkenstock and another prestige brand I can't think of). What a great deal! Riley also told me I could "double dip" and head over to Sunshine and Bluebirds (right next door). That's where I found more of the Teleties hair clips. These are so great because they lay flat, which omits the uncomfortable feeling of driving with a clip on the back of your head. Brittany who was working at the store, was beyond friendly and easy to talk to. The customer service alone makes me want to go back to both Research and Design & Sunshine and Bluebirds. Pro tip: add yourself to your mailing list and enter your birthday. You'll get a 30% coupon that I can use at both stores.

However, when you see the prices of some of this trendy teenybopper stuff, you may "go postale." I was last in this store not too long ago after I heard that the food court here was closing down forever. I made 3 or 4 trips to my fave Greek place in the food court and then also did some shopping. This included picking up some Xmas gifts at places like Abercrombie and Aero. I find that this Aero is a little quieter than the Galleria one, and actually has a few more items in it, especially around holiday time. The guy helping me was very nice, he told me a few things I didn't know about sizes and such. Still, the prices were a little high for my tastes. That's what sucks about Xmas. You have to buy the stuff in time for the big day, then 2 weeks later, everything is on half price sale. Basically each of the Aero stores I've shopped at in Buffalo is the same. Galleria, Eastern Hills, and Boulevard. All are inside a mall. All have young employees and young clientele. All have "teeny attitude" and extremely inflated prices. But I won't lie, people look very good in their clothes. I even (blush) have some of their clothes myself, although I don't wear them anymore. I can totally see why other people do, though. Did you know an Aero is a chocolate bar in the UK? It's pretty good, too. I think Rowntree makes it. Or Mars.

Make sure you download the app to earn points (1 point per penny spent). The store has a nice layout. It's easy to see your options and to know most sale prices. The staff will help you if you have any confusion too. There's tons of men's clothes, less women's clothes but still a decent selection. And they're really cute clothes, with brands like Tru Religion and Ed Hardy. The style is more for an older teen/ younger adult, or an older adult that has a hip sort of skater vibe. I'm turning 40 and although crop tops (this was almost all the women's tops) and wide leg jeans aren't flattering for my figure (heck, I would rock them if I could!) I was still able to find a cute matching Tru Religion fitted tee and lounge pants for myself. My son got all of his clothes here. He was so happy with the stuff he got! And it put a smile on my face to see him excited for his back to school gear - no mom influence, just his own style! In addition to clothing and accessories, they have skate decks, super cute rollerskates, stickers/decals, etc. There are 2 fitting rooms. Staff was very very friendly and so helpful! Clothing is very good quality! I could tell by the feel of everything their clothes are built to last. Even with my fitted tee ... I rarely buy them because I always find them so thin and cheap and look like crap after one wash ... but this one I picked was well-structured. It is hard to find good quality clothes these days; by design, companies are making everything with limited use. I found Zumies clothing brands to be of stellar quality, both men's and women's - and the price point being fair for such quality.

They are unique, pretty, and best of all, reasonably priced. Sometimes the quality can be a little questionable. They've started carrying higher-end selections, which cost quite a bit more. But if you need a pair of shoes you're only going to wear a couple times, you'll be very impressed with what you get here. I buy flip flops and sandals here every year -they only last for about one season, but that could be because I wear them non-stop. They have a really neat jewelery selection, too. This trendy label appeals to the younger, fashion-conscious, crowd. And then scattered throughout the store, especially in the back, there are styles that look a bit dated and ordinary. There are some high-price designer items as well. I think their jewelry section is rather blah. I've never bought jewelry from them. All sorts of used handbags and practically new shoes. Both my teenage daughter and I have bought clothes from here. Something for everyone. What I like about consigning my gently used clothes with this business is that they itemize the clothing that you give them. When the consignment period is over in 3 months, you know exactly which item sold and how much money you will get for it. Unlike another consignment store in the area that just gives you a number for your items and never tells you exactly what sold. Becomes a mystery. And then you have to hunt all over the place to find your items that didn't sell if you want them back. But here, I ask for items that don't sell back and they keep them for me to pick up within a window of time. They take appointments on their website for consigning your things the first few days of the month only. It's very organized and I appreciate that. They may not take many of the items you hope to consign. But at least they're honest and organized.
