Although they were a half size bigger than what I would have ordered and a different color than I had in mind, they ended up being the perfect Sorel wedge sandal and now I'm obsessed. I also was able to use my 30% off bday coupon, which you can use pretty much everything (excludes Birkenstock and another prestige brand I can't think of). What a great deal! Riley also told me I could "double dip" and head over to Sunshine and Bluebirds (right next door). That's where I found more of the Teleties hair clips. These are so great because they lay flat, which omits the uncomfortable feeling of driving with a clip on the back of your head. Brittany who was working at the store, was beyond friendly and easy to talk to. The customer service alone makes me want to go back to both Research and Design & Sunshine and Bluebirds. We probably wouldn't make a habit of coming back here too often but I definitely don't agree with the other criticism from the one-star review which says that too many skinny girls are posing in the ads for this place, cuz really a place can use whatever ads it wants to and there's nothing abnormal about being skinny, fat, whatever. My mom had already gone in with a friend a week prior, and Monroe helped her into DOZENS of dresses that were suited to my mom - and getting her into any dress is hard...the owner is just so good with people! My mom is not a girly woman at all, and she rarely wears dresses or anything like this, but Monroe quickly figured out my mom's preferences and showed her dresses that really flattered her figure. She helped her pose and take pictures of the dresses - so many beautiful dresses. When I was with her, we got 1 on 1 attention and the dresses she picked out were gorgeous. We finally went with a stunning black dress with tasteful shoulder cutouts that I honestly would have never thought to pick out myself. I am SO happy with the dress and my mom truly LOVES it too (which is what matters most!).
