Had my screen and battery replaced. It took 1.25hrs. Was really disappointed that they replaced my screen with a substandard screen. The resolution and color gradients were horrible. The worst part of the deal is; is that the technicians knew that the screens sucked from previous complaints. They advised me that it was the only iPhone 7 screen they had left and that's why they installed it. Anyway to make my rant longer they agreed to replace my screen with a better quality screen once they are in stock which is fine except for the fact that I have to take time out of my busy day to do it. Communication is key in all service based businesses. Could have saved everyone time and money, honext time. So, I went back this morning to have the screen replaced as previously stated and everything went great. They made good on their promise and then some. They replaced my screen and threw in a complimentary screen protector and discounted my previous bill. Accordingly, I'm updating my stars to 4.5 as the overall experience was very professional and fast. At the end of the day I will use their services in the future; any business can have an imperfect day as long as they implement real time corrections to the customer as was done here. read more

I brought my iPhone here thinking the charge port was broken. These guys could've told me I needed a $200 repair and I would've believed them. The kind gentleman who helped me out said this would be the fastest fix of the day. After I rolled my eyes he ended up cleaning a cotton ball sized amount of lint out of my phone. I had to give them a 5 star Yelp review for saving me the insane amount of money I would've spent on a new phone and fixing it in front of my eyes. Amazing staff, they were extremely helpful in finding a solution for my sister to get her first macbook that worked around our budget for her. It is a small location, which makes it hard to get around when it is busy and limits the number of display models they can have out. I was having issues on my Ipad & I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to go to the Apple Store and wait for someone to help me so I found this place on google search. So I called them to find where they are located. I brought my Ipad in and they said "no problem we will take care of it for you. It should only take about 30 to 40 minutes." Well it didn't take that long. They had to restore everything I had on my Ipad. As I waited, I started to look around the store at there products. Small personal store. I can't give this place enough praise. They truly live up to all the hype. I live all the way near the Buffalo Niagara airport and drive all the way out here whenever I need any of my Apple products fixed because I know my stuff will be fixed the right way the first time without it costing an arm and a leg. Imagine your cooking dinner & you place your iPhone on the counter next to the stove. Your wife goes into the cabinet and accidentally knocks a water bottle down. As it free falls from the cabinet you know there is only one likely place for it to land....CRACK, goes the iPone screen! You then search for places that can repair the screen. Google brings up a few local places with a number of "favorable" reviews but then you realize all the reviews are on Facebook pages so they are likely made up of friends &/or family. You then go to Yelp, why b/c you know people who review on Yelp are honest about the experience. You come across some of the same ones from Facebook only to see lots of negative reviews, then you find one with mostly positive reviews Experimac of Orchard Park. You call the store at 6:15 hoping to get it fixed tonight bc you notice it closes at 7, they say no problem just stop on by. You get there at 6:25 & by 6:45 Chris had you hooked up with a new screen & screen protector for a great price. Not gonna lie, I checked Amazon to see what a kit would cost to do this myself and at the end of the day knowing it was done in 20 minutes was well worth the additional cost! Prior to going the work, Chris explained one function might not work based on the impact zone of the crash, he was spot on. That's someone who knows what he's doing. Remember, you when looking for a service provider, you pay extra not b/c they can put a new screen on; you pay for them knowing precisely what is wrong and what to expect once it's fixed so you're not left with surprises. Finally, checked this places Facebook page afterwards and they too have all positive reviews. When you score positive reviews across all of social media you're doing something right. read more

They are excellent. My MacBook Pro was unusable, black screen-- I was unsure what happened. I did take it to one other local place, who said if I just wanted the pictures from it, then it would $600 if I traded him my computer, and $1200 if I did not include my computer trade--this other place diagnosed it with a corrupted hard drive. I took the same computer over to Experimac, they asked if I had a minute and took the hard drive out in seconds, said they would transfer my files, it would be $50. Honest, trustworthy company. I was devastated when I shattered my phone screen yesterday and wanted to take it somewhere to be fixed quickly. I am not a fan of going to the Apple Store because I don't like the wait time there. A friend suggested I bring my phone to Experimac to have them take a look at it and I am so thankful I decided to give it a shot! I was greeted by Chris who was very pleasant and experienced. He took my phone and replaced the screen within 45 minutes- he even did the repair himself which was nice to actually know who was taking apart my phone!! While I was waiting for the screen repair, I spoke with Jeff (who i later found out is actually one of the business owners) about getting my MacBook Pro looked at. I've had my laptop for about 6 years and it has started to run rather slow. Later that same day, I brought my laptop in and was recommended a RAM upgrade. It took about 5 minutes for them to upgrade and my laptop hasn't run this well in years! Overall great experience and the results were exactly what I was looking for! All there products are overpriced by at least 20% retail. Had a few devices trade appraised example iPhone 6 16gb wanted to give me $100 they sell them here for $449.99 used. Before you goto to this place check online first you will save 100s. They post on offerup, letgo and Craigslist. After I posted this review there were 2 reviews all 5 stars posted exactly 8 hours later each one brand new to yelp. All stated " knowledgeable staff" how can each review state the same, someone must be writing the reviews for the customers on the inside. Don't go there, they trashed my Ipod for "free". Let me explain, about 3 weeks ago, I brought in my Ipod, which was working just fine, for battery replacement as it was no longer holding it's charge. I had recently heard about this company on a local radio station, so I decided to give them a whirl. Received an update stating that the Ipod was "acting funny" after their first attempt to relplace the battery and they were ordering a second battery. Several days went by and I heard nothing, so I called for an update and was informed that they couldn't get the Ipod to restart/reset whatever. I wasn't charged when I went in to pick it up (how big of them) but also wasn't offered any compensating gesture either. Let me be clear, other than the battery not holding a charge, the Ipod was in good working order when I brought it to them. I can only conclude that either incompetence or careless handling occured while in their possession. read more

I don't know about this business. They took 10 min. to look at my pc, told me I needed to reset my password and to call my internet server to do that. They charged me $27 for that. I had to then spend an hour on the phone with Spectrum to reset my password. read more

I went to Experimac because they had a groupon to fix my iPhone screen. I spoke with Chris several times on the phone, he was very polite and gave me all the information I needed. You do not need an appointment, although I did call ahead of time, to make sure they would be able to get me in. Upon arrival, the store is sleek and very clean with mac products for purchase. I overheard the customer in front of me and they will purchase some of your old mac electronics from you and I assume they clean them up and resell, they were even willing to pay the gentleman more than he would have gotten from an online buy back place. I was helped quickly and instead of making me return when my phone was fixed they even offered to drop the phone off to me at the nearby coffee shop as soon as they were done. Talk about great customer service. I will definitely be recommending this store to others in the future. read more
