All my life, my nicknames have revolved around my hair. "Mufasa", "forgetful frizzball" just to name a few. Why?? Because my hair has a mind of its own and if it were angry, you would know! Wendi is so great! I am incredibly glad I stumbled upon this boutique salon on Yelp. My hair was getting boring and since I was 4 days removed from wisdom tooth surgery, I wanted to go outside and do something new to my hair. I looked up a few different salons but liked Wendi's salon the best so I made an appointment to see her Friday morning. Prior to my appointment, I discussed with her via text exactly what I was looking for and she took note. During the 3 hours I was at the salon, she listened attentively to my needs and was also fun to converse with about almost everything! I got a scalp massage, shampoo wash, haircut, and partial balayage with auburn brown. It came out better than I expected because I have had horrible experiences in the past. I knew going in that I wanted to treat myself so I let her fix my botched hair from the last haircut I had. I wanted to go for a subtle but still noticeable look that would make my hair a little more lively and she excelled in my expectations. I left feeling pretty, happy, and content. I've had 2 treatments so far targeting my stomach area and surprisingly, I feel less bloated, the post-baby pooch and love handles have visibly gotten smaller, and my pants are actually feel less restricting! I am so motivated now to keep this trifecta effect going of eating clean (most of the week), doing cardio workouts 3 times a week, and getting Cryoskin treatments! Wendi did an AMAZING job on my full foil and tape in extensions. This was my first time seeing Wendi and I'm always nervous going to new people (my hair is dry and dark brown but I get heavy foils to take it to light blonde) but I could not be happier. The extensions were placed perfectly so I can still put my hair up and they look so natural. As a busy mother of 2, this was just what I needed! I eat well, workout and have a very healthy lifestyle but, I just happen to have some tiny stubborn areas of fat that wont seem to tighten, no matter how lean I get. Wendi began our appointment with an in-depth consultation, assessing my hair and asking me what type of styling and washing routine I have. Wendi is a hair magician. She owns the place and does everything herself, no other stylists. The space is so cute and has a lot of natural light. Her personality alone makes me want to come back! I am one of those people who gets very overwhelmed when looking for a new hairdresser. I get very overwhelmed by big salons, and all the commotion that comes with it. Wendi is amazing! She is the hair guru! She is fun and trendy. She took the time to hear and understand what I wanted. Of course, I wanted my hair color to be lighter for the summer and to have a little bit of that "sun-kissed" natural looking hair color. Needless to say, the balayage turned out flawless! Wendy is awesome! I have been coming to Wendy for about 10 years now because she is the best stylist I've ever had. Both her cut and coloring skills are excellent-I always leave there loving my hair. She takes the time to figure out what you are looking to do with your hair.
