Lockwood was the best hidden gem in Paris! This was our first stop after we landed. The bar manager was from Philly and super cool. He gave us some recommendations on which dishes to try and it was amazing. They have a dope vibe and great energy. We can't wait to come back next time we're in the area.

Just when you think you've seen it all with avocado toast. A bit expensive but huge portion, great ingredients, and very filling. The service is excellent as well.

We were craving a full pancake breakfast after being in Europe for two months-- don't get me wrong, I love pastries, but I needed to get my full pancake fill and Lockwood delivered! Absolutely going back when I visit Paris next! The waitstaff was friendly and was willing to speak French with us and supplement any words we could not find in French in English, which was a nice change for Paris and made us feel very welcome!

"Mary Used to Smoke" = vampire sriracha bloody

This review is for the fabulous downstairs cocktail bar, visited at 7:40 on a rainy Saturday night. If we had stayed upstairs in the cafe in the tiny uncomfortable stools I'm sure we would not have been so in love. The downstairs is an American southwest aesthetic with hipster cocktails (creative, though, not super reductive) and American Classic rock music. We had their take on the Bloody Mary with sriracha and it was goooood. Almost like soup. Or what I imagine blood tastes like to a vampire. We also tried the simple but excellent charcuterie plate and it did not disappoint.

We ordered the Florentine eggs and pancakes and they were both delicious! The service was also amazing! Would definitely come back again.

I had two cocktails here, both of which were good, if pricey (€12). The staff were friendly and the ambience was nice and quiet.

Went here in September 2025…read more Such a fun place. Think of the times you've been to a bar where the person making your drink really put their all into it. That's this place. Go see for yourselves. We liked it so much. It was our planned stop in route to Moulin Rouge, and that proved to us that we just had to bring our tribe with us on the way back. That's right. Two stops. One night. Enough said.

Dirty Dick may officially win the award for "most questionable name attached to a genuinely great…read moretiki bar." When we arrived the place was dead quiet -- like "did we accidentally come during a private apocalypse?" quiet. But as the evening went on, more people slowly wandered in and the atmosphere picked up. The drinks were fantastic: huge, strong, colorful, and dangerously fun. Exactly what you want from a tiki bar. The bartenders were incredibly sweet too. They answered all our questions, made recommendations based on what we actually like, and clearly knew their menu well. Always appreciate bartenders who don't just point randomly and say "this one." The decor and vibe were awesome -- dark, tropical, quirky, and full-on escapism. Felt like stepping into a hidden island bar in the middle of Paris. Only thing that threw us a little? The music. At several points it sounded less "tropical tiki escape" and more "waiting 45 minutes for Space Mountain at Disney World." Not bad exactly... just unexpectedly wholesome for drinks strong enough to make you text your high school friends at midnight. Overall though, we absolutely loved it and would 100% go back. Great drinks, great staff, fun atmosphere -- and honestly the weird Disney-adjacent soundtrack somehow became part of the charm.

What a great find!…read more This bar doesn't look like much from the outisde but once you walk in, its super cool and full of character. The bar staff was extremely friendly and educated us on the history of the bar. Both bartenders spoke english and were from United States. It was explained to us that Lulu White was a brothel madam, that was concidered to have more power than the mayor of New Orleans during the late 1800s. Her brothel contained a "Blue Book" that allowed patrons to chose their companion via photos. The Lulu White bar, took this concept and allows you to chose your drink according to the individuals photographed in the "Blue book". We were told the individuals listed in the book change about every 6 months but the Lulu White drinks remains constant. I tried the Lulu White: Altos Anejo Tequila, Plymouth Gin, Genepi, Absentroux, and Cardamon noir. It came in a elegant beautiful glass and It tasted like a dry martini with a licorice flavor from the absinthe. This was definitley a drink you sip on to enjoy. The décor of the bar, resembled historical New Orleans with its dim lighting and elegant décor and half moon booth seating. This was a great surprise, and I recomment anyone to stop by and check it out!

Still a strong mix of anglophones but locals seem to balance out the crowd. Fairly priced cocktails. I had the Beatrix which was a little too bitter for my taste, so switched out to the Pale Ale which was tasty. The live music was fantastic! Not sure if the ensemble is there every weekend, but they made a great trio. I'd visit when/if in Pigalle again.

If you're in the area, do check this place out...it's also very central to so many other places in Paris, so it's a great place to start or finish at...I wouldn't make it THE place to go. Perfect taste in music: Check. Best - and I really mean BEST cocktails this side of Manhattan: Check. We stumbled into Dr. Lupin looking for a quick night cap and eneded up spending the best part of 4 hours there. So: we walk in. The bloke behind the bar exclaims before we even sat down: "I have no idea how to make a cocktail! I'm just guarding the fort! I can pour a beer if thats what you want". "Sure". I notice something about Jack Daniels in the bar and casually mention a Lemmy... "Don't move! The real bar tender is a Motörhead fan!". Peter (I think that's his name, but I was hammered, so could well be Rudolph for all I remember), walks in and takes his place behind the bar. We start exchanging stories of how we met Lemmy back when he was immortal... Aaaaaand... it was all uphill from there on. We slap some Motörhead on the sound system, cranck it up to 11... and the rest is history. I did mention the best cocktails this side of Manhattan. Let me explain: 50ml of Gentleman Jack 20ml of maple syrup 2 dashes of angostura bitters Top off with stout or porter beer. Grate some Tonka bean on top That called a Lemmy Angel and it's MAGIC! You have to try the hot bloody mary too. If only to see the only known use of a flame thrower in the preparation of a cocktail. EPIC! Merci les amis. Ce fût une soirée mémorable!
