Long story short, my truck was parked in my garage, Tony had to be innovative using jumper cables and a jump starter pack simultaneously to get truck started. He took his time loading truck on tow bed and ensured my truck would arrive safely to repair shop. I'm not sure of A-1's history with customer satisfaction but Tony was truly professional, caring and is an asset to A-1 Towing & Recovery.

I declined and offered to push it out with my brother. The driver instead pushed it out himself and later demanded payment, which I again refused. He acted hostile, refused to let me ride with him, and made the experience unpleasant. This was my first tow and the lack of upfront communication, along with the aggressive attitude, makes me confident in saying I'd never recommend this company. Update: After posting this review, the manager called and apologized for the driver's behavior. He explained that charging to move the vehicle so it can be towed is against their policy. He also said they'd reprimand the driver and install dash cams on all their trucks to make keep their drivers accountable. While I appreciate the apology, it came across more like damage control than a genuine effort to understand what went wrong or prevent it from happening again. It felt like pressure to get me to change my review, not true accountability. That said, I'm updating this to two stars because I hope this isn't how the company normally operates. If they follow through on these changes and more customers share positive experiences, they may well deserve a second chance. For now, this is still my experience, so keep it in mind if you're considering their service.

Deja Vu!!! same story, they told Mini 70 minutes, then failed to arrive, told Mini another 20 because they were just finishing a job that required more time, still no show, then told to wait another 10 minutes. after being told to wait ANOTHER 10 MINUTES, i demanded their location. the driver told their dispatch he was at Devon & Milwaukee! 10 minutes from there to here - who are they kidding? Mini agreed they weren't responding or were giving inaccurate estimates of time. Mini has filed a complaint against them and re-dispatched Hi-Tech roadside service to me ... they were to arrive in 55 minutes. two people arrived in a private car with no logo, no uniform, no cards arrived after 1 hour and ten minutes. he needed help figuring out how to release the spare from the undercarriage, but he got the job done. the Mini Multi Shield Protection Plan for 5 years cost $1395 - it includes roadside assistance, replacement of the tire, towing and rental car. i will definitely provide my review of their service providers when i call them to request tire replacement!

Lamb Roadside Assistance is evidently one of my motor club's hired companies and were on call…read morerecently when I locked my keys in my car at a new grocery store at a possibly unfamiliar address. It took a while for the technician to arrive, an hour and a half I believe (my cell phone had a low, then dead battery, which didn't help matters) but once he did, he very expertly got the door unlocked. The next day I got a spare set of keys, and I will be getting a phone which holds a better charge in the future!
