Excellent experience getting keys made here. While that might not seem like a mean fete, the places succeeded where two major chains failed. After buying a lock at Home Depot and installing it, we sought to have extra keys made. Home Depot said they could not do it. Ace Hardware made the keys but they didn't work. Then we went here and were informed that this is the most common key in the world and that everyone else were idiots. This is probably this time my husband insisted on a Yelp review. read more

Perfect place to get a key made. The guy who made my keys was super friendly as soon as I walked into the door, he gave me his full attention. He warned me one sort of key would be a bit more expensive and asked me if I still wanted to proceed (yup), appreciate the extra communication. I've never had to use their locksmith services to change locks yet, but for key making...it's a great local place with reasonable prices and a $5 minimum to use credit. read more

Provisional review -- only one use. I had been looking for a locksmith to visit a property and rekey a lock for a number of weeks, each time getting estimates of triple figures, before learning that I could easily remove the lock from the door and bring it directly to a locksmith. So I showed up to this tiny local place knowing nothing about it having not made any communication beforehand and plopped my lock on their narrow counter. "Can you rekey this?" "Yes, would you like to wait? It'll be about five to ten minutes." I was floored. By the time I had but purchased three apples at PriceRite, my lock had been rekeyed... for less than $9.00. The manager, sensing my utter lack of handiness, I suspect, showed me how to refit it together twice just in case and sent me on my way. I was impressed. This was but my first experience with them, and I hate to give anyone a five-star review after but one simple visit, but the visit was so efficient, so excellent, of such exemplary value that I'll be sure to consult with them first whenever I need future locksmithing work. read more

Quick production of duplicate keys. Reasonably priced. For this particular service, couldn't expect much better results.

I searched Yelp to find someone to repair two door knobs in my home. Bob arrived promptly at 8:00 a half hour earlier than expected which worked even better for me. Efficient would be an understatement to describe the skillful way he proceeded to make the repairs. I learned a lot, but, wouldn't hesitate to call on them again in the future. Lock Man came on time, and cheerfully and competently fixed what was wrong. (An electrician had pushed the buttons on the lock on my front door all the way in, making it permanently locked thereby rendering my AT&T Digital Life lock useless. Yes, he was AT&T's electrician. That's for another review...) He had to take it apart and refit it with a new spring. It cost a little over $100. I had no keys made. He did compliment my lock and my dogs. I'd call him again, but I hope I don't have to. read more

Recently, I had to get a 2nd transponder key made for my car because the original owner had lost one of the keys. The car dealer said it would cost $120 and take one hour to complete. I ran over to Lockman where he cut and programmed the key right in front of me in about 10 min. The price was significantly lower than the dealer as well (~$80). I would highly recommend this little shop! read more
