Very easy experience. He was responsive over text and over the phone. Polite man who got the work done; in and out within about an hour. He replaced two deadbolts and door knobs and rekeyed and made new keys so that they were all the same. His price was competitive compared to another estimate I got. Recommending this family business! read more

Listed our project and received a response within a few hours. We discussed the parameters of the project and decided to proceed with his company. Our appointment was for 9am and the CWJ Lock & Key van arrived a few minutes early. The gentleman was very pleasant and reviewed the items to be installed and the location for each. He immediately went to work. Before starting, he placed a cloth over the floor to protect it and contain the dirt and sawdust which we appreciated since the floors are brand new. There were some questions and a few adaptations that needed to be made but every situation and all alternatives were explained. A few items we didn't even think about were explained and decisions made. In all, 8 new locks were installed. Some were replacements, some were new installs and 1 was a unique and challenging situation. All were handled expertly. We expected the entire project to take 8 to 10 hours but it only took a little less than 5. In each area where work was done the area was cleaned and other than the new lock there was no sign that any work had ever been done. The work was done quickly and expertly. All needed keys were made on site. We expected the work to cost around $600 but the actual cost was just a little over $400. We are so happy that we selected CWJ Lock & Key for this project. They have proven to us that they are an efficient, professional, person able and extremely reasonable firm and we recommend them highly. read more

The price was a little expensive, the reponse was immediately, but not able to come the day of so as far as emergencies, not at all great.

Thank you Chuck you will be my go to locksmith from now on! Great price, charged less than half of what others quoted me for the same job. Workmanship was top notch, and your knowledge of what was being installed reassured me that I had purchased the correct product. To top it all off, you're a heck of a nice guy! Thank you!! read more

Chuck immediately got back to my quote request, confirmed scheduled day and time, called 1/2 hour before arrival, completed the job efficiently and charged exactly what was quoted. Even offered to rekey a different door at no charge so the same key worked for every lock. Contractors and service folks should take a page out of Chuck's book. Highly recommend his services. read more

Very knowledgeable, very reasonably priced, would highly recommend to anyone in need of lock work on residential, commercial or auto.

I had a really amazing experience here. My auto lock wasn't working properly and as I described the problem on the phone the owner quoted me around $150 as a ballpark figure for the repair and replacement. I actually missed my first appointment by accident and was able to drop it off again when I was leaving for vacation. He watched the a car for a week, and when I came back to pick up the car he described his challenge hunting for parts online that were recently priced matched my car but devised an improvised solution that cost me only $38! it works great I couldn't be happier with definitely go back. read more
