Needed a new key fob, dealerships price was ridiculously expensive, but Advance was so affordable & the service was prompt, professional & accommodating. I would highly recommend this business. read more

Needed a new battery for my car key fob. I called to make sure they were open and that they could change the battery for this model. He said yes, absolutely. I popped over right then and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The man who helped me was incredibly friendly and the whole process was very easy. I would absolutely go back here for other key needs. They also have a small parking lot so it makes it easy. I can't imagine that it gets very busy, so parking should always be pretty simple. The Englewood location is a nice one between Kenmore and Sheridan. So, relatively easy to get to if this is a neck of the woods that you frequent. read more

Terrific service, super nice guy, and reasonable prices. Had an extra key made for our truck. Originally called a different place and was told I had to make an appointment. Drove by anouther place that was closed. Called here and was told come right over. Did an awesome job, verified the key worked, and even gave hubby some truck repair tips. Would 100 percent recommend read more

Dan go's the x-tra mile, takes the time to get the job done right. rekeyed my kwikset smartkey lock that I messed up

Once again advance got the job done. I have a key fob to get into my apartment and I'm constantly losing it or misplacing it and I get locked out of my building. I stopped by today and the owner Dan Sr. made me a replacement fob so anytime this happens I can rest assured I can get in my building . Took 5 minutes and It was less expensive than I thought too! Next, I'm going to buy a heavy duty safe, from the many they have in store . He shared with me a bunch of knowledge ( pros and cons) about the best one for me. read more

Great place to get a quick copy of a key for a great price. I visited on a Monday morning after receiving a reply about my e-mail regarding price. They have the best prices for house keys - $2 plus tax, another location told me up to $5 plus tax for a single house key, absurd! (I only asked about house keys) They also had parking space. When I went to get a copy of the keys, it took less than 2 minutes for two keys! The keys work great, are high quality and they were very efficient at having the key made. Would definitely recommend and visit again! read more

Dan at Advanced Lock and Key was extremely helpful in rotating my locks for a new house. The process was extremely quick. Highly recommend this company. read more

Dan Jr. was very helpful. Spent much time with me, till I figured what I needed. Then he sent Mark to install very quickly. Mark got it installed in record time and was very pleasant. He checked a few things and fixed what needed to be fixed. Very smooth install. Would recommend. read more

These guys are THE BEST. They installed two new locks and a doorknob for me after other "locksmiths" butchered my doors. Advanced Lock & Key were on time, had everything they needed and were polite and nice. They tell you what it will cost upfront and it was very reasonable. I wish I had called them first. They installed the hardware to hide all the mess the other locksmiths made. I feel they were working to the quality level they would use on their own house. This is three generations of locksmiths! Call them. You won't be disappointed ! read more

Needed a part for my mortice lock 1936 door. They had it and explained everything I needed for installation. Cured my headache! Would use them again!! read more

They had a specific file cabinet key that's hard to find and most other places don't carry. He waited for me after business hours and was so nice and pleasant. Amazing customer service. Very "City Of Good Neighbors" of him, I was so appreciative that there are still old school moms & pops businesses with old school values. read more

Advanced Lock & Key has rekeyed my whole house twice; when I first moved in, and after I gave away some spare keys that I didn't get back. Both times they came right on time, calling to tell me when they were en route. They rekeyed everything very quickly and gave me as many keys as I wanted. The prices were very reasonable, considering the number of locks I have; I think the last time it was around $130. They're my go-to now; I would use them for anything key related. read more

Early this spring my car developed an issue with the car key sticking in the ignition. After trying to address the issue myself & failing, I took my car in. They worked on it for over half an hour, and were close to recommending that I take it into the dealer. However, they came up with a plan for jerry-rigging it instead. Worked seamlessly for many months before I traded the car in for an entirely seperate issue. They saved me $$$ and a lot of anxiety. I hate putting money into an old car, so I was very happy with the action taken. Cannot recommend highly enough!! read more

Very helpful and knows what he's doing! Successfully made a key for an older BMW motorcycle.

Kind of black and white. You can either do the job or you can't. He did. Good value and quick as a bunny.

A++. Prompt, Efficient, Friendly. Greg was fantastic. Replaced front and back knob/deadbolt sets. Highly recommend!

This store is great. Very knowledgeable and gave me a big discount. Very good guy. Came here with a safe I cannot open. He just picked it in 2 seconds and didn't even charge me! read more

We couldn't be more thrilled after moving to our new home, We asked Dan Sr., Dan Jr., and Greg to help us out with some new locks and hardware. They were honestly and very genuinely helpful and helped us to pick exactly what we needed and stay away from what we didn't. The install was quick, efficient and perfectly on time. I was super impressed that Greg was able to install locks in our antique door without any trouble and that they work perfectly. Thanks to the Advanced team got their expertise and help. They made our move easy and secure! read more

I bought a house that is over 100 years old and with that, things eventually break. I have had to have them come out on two different occasions for two different reasons. They go above and beyond to explain to you what is going on as well as get right back to you when you reach out. I would record them 10 out of 10 times. read more

Responded quickly on a weekend. Dan Jr - great job, very professional and did not oversell anything. Will certainly refer neighbors to Advanced Lock and Key! read more

Advanced Lock & Key are the best locksmiths around! They have performed work on our car (with a transmission key), installed keyless entry in our home (which I love) and also fixed a handle on an older bi-fold door and are the only place we get key copies made (because the keys ALWAYS work! I've gone to the big box hardware stores and it's a crapshoot on whether the duplicate key will work). They are a family-owned business and always a pleasure to deal with. Knowledgeable, reasonable and get the job done right the first time. Cannot say enough good things about them! read more

Dan went above and beyond to get a troublesome safe open. Highly recommended! 5 Stars.

Dan Senior came out and expertly fixed an old door beautifully. He was prompt and professional, charged a reasonable rate. I'm definitely a fan of advanced lock and Key. read more

quality professional service, no upselling, polite and knowledgeable, quick service, would recommend.

These guys are great. I have all of my keys made here because you don't need to worry about them not working the way you do if you take it to a hardware store. They also do commercial doors and took the time to go over some issues I've been having with a residential door and give me some solutions and tips on how to fix it. great service! read more
