Our appointment was for 9am and the CWJ Lock & Key van arrived a few minutes early. The gentleman was very pleasant and reviewed the items to be installed and the location for each. He immediately went to work. Before starting, he placed a cloth over the floor to protect it and contain the dirt and sawdust which we appreciated since the floors are brand new. There were some questions and a few adaptations that needed to be made but every situation and all alternatives were explained. A few items we didn't even think about were explained and decisions made. In all, 8 new locks were installed. Some were replacements, some were new installs and 1 was a unique and challenging situation. All were handled expertly. We expected the entire project to take 8 to 10 hours but it only took a little less than 5. In each area where work was done the area was cleaned and other than the new lock there was no sign that any work had ever been done. The work was done quickly and expertly. All needed keys were made on site. We expected the work to cost around $600 but the actual cost was just a little over $400. We are so happy that we selected CWJ Lock & Key for this project. They have proven to us that they are an efficient, professional, person able and extremely reasonable firm and we recommend them highly.

I went on Monday to get an estimate/ look into the locks, and they came out on Thursday and replaced them! Dave was the gentleman who replaced my locks. He is super sweet and personable, and took the time to educate me on how the lock handle on my front door, which is original to the house, works! When he replaced the side door locks, he noticed my screen door didn't close properly, so he played with the speed of how fast it closed and was able to get it to shut fast enough to properly latch!! (And he didn't even charge additionally for that!!) Also!! They now accept card payments! I was slightly worried about how I was going to pay for the services, since I don't have checks, but they have a mini/portable card reader device they can use remotely!
