If you need a unit for a specified period of time due to a move etc., and you know when you expect to leave before you start, that's good. If you'll "get to it someday," that's bad. See above -- think long and hard about why you have a storage unit. That said, I was a long-time (too long) customer who paid rent faithfully every month via credit card autopay. That card expired. I paid the bill immediately upon finding out, but Dino's would not rescind the late fee despite my years of support. I was late, and it's their right to charge a late fee. But getting nickel and dimed after spending (wasting) thousands of dollars is annoying. The units themselves: ok, but there were signs of rodents.

I was robbed!! I contacted their help line through an email and received no phone calls no resolve .. they have sent me maybe 100 dollars back out of over 700 for 2 trucks I didn't even use that long !!! I used to rent trucks out for the storage company I used to work for and I clean for a living and I used to drive one of those trucks daily .. I know how to return them and I know that the charges I received are absolutely out of this world wrong !!!! The U-Haul on 18th St will take your money over charge you up front and have false dashboard readings!!! Do not rent from them !!! If this reaches any upper management I'd like my money back !!!

He calls me 1/2 hour before close and tells me my locks are gone. I said I'm on my way and I got there at 10 minutes to 5 and he was already closed to avoid me. (They close the office at 5) Another lady who pulled in when I was loading up what remained of my belongings, she said she also got the same call at the same time. I called the manager to try and get a refund and they told me they would have the owner call me. Still waiting for that call. This really hurt me because one item was a rare tube amplifier I will never be able to replace. Im guessing there is a crew of theifs that live behind in Twin City and they make regular rounds through here. One would think they would beef up security and actually have cameras covering all the units but anybody can come from behind, climb the fence and spend hours there and nobody would know except the victim the next day. The employee working was named Bri and she told me just less than a week ago she had been in COLORADO. Where there have been MANY confirmed cases of COVID-19. She needs to be self-isolated for a minimum of TWO WEEKS. It is completely irresponsible for her to come to work and for UHAUL to allow their employees to put our community at risk.
