She is not someone that should be talking to customers. She definitely hates her job and takes everything personally. I've never been treated so rudely in all of my life when rent a storage unit. Even the very first day I started my contract she seemed to have problems with wanting to explain anything to me without getting upset. Yes im the type of person that doesn't read or remember all of the fine details of a contract. Or know the ins and outs of renting. But if ask a question and im a little bit shocked about the contract the first response from the worker should not be ripping me a new one for asking questions and not understanding them fully. They have misleading signs that say they don't raise the rent but they do it's just worded in a way to get you hooked. And when if you ask any question about anything she comes unglued. Only reason I rented from them in the first place is because it was a good location for me and cheap. And now i know why.

Now for the negatives: - They were supposed to arrive at 10:30am, they actually arrived at 1:20pm. - The guy who followed the first person in has absolutely no regard for being in someone else's home. I assume he's the owner (short bald-headed guy). He entered and walked into the room where our piano sat with his shoes on. I politely asked him if he could wear booties and he said "we can't". I then asked him if he could take his shoes off and he said "we can't for insurance reasons". I then asked him if he could lay blankets down and he said "we don't like to roll over our blankets but if you have a towel we can wipe off our shoes". So, it's clear they'd rather walk on my new carpet then execute a solution. - Finally, after they removed the piano they left my front door open for over ten minutes. It's July, and 102* outside. I would seriously look elsewhere before using this company.

His estimate was concise, pricing transparent, and easy to understand. Crew arrived and introduced themselves in a professional manner. I have lived in 8 states and hired numerous companies. They were the very first company I have hired that not only used door frame protectors, but placed plastic and rubber on all flooring to protect moving out and moving in. They packed the glassware and dishware in a way that not one piece arrived broken or cracked. All furniture was handled with attention and care and assembly of furniture at new place was done well and in a timely fashion. Crew were interactive, receptive, hard working, and friendly. I was quoted for a crew of 4. Only 3 showed up and to their credit, they adjusted the hourly rate accordingly on the final bill. Would recommend A-1 to anyone that has a packing or moving need and will certainly call them again for any future moving needs I have.

They went above and beyond for their service. I had a bunch of heavy furniture pieces and they handled everything with care and a smile. So with the truck, fuel, hotels and food they both costed about the same. The Penske truck seemed cheaper but once you add up all the other stuff the cubes were actually a little cheaper. Also with the cubes I didn't have to take time off work, no stress of trying to figure out where I was going, traffic idiots that don't know how to drive and I knew my stuff was in professional hands. We put or stuff with U-pack storage which ended up being nice because we didn't close on our house for 2 1/2 weeks later than we expected.
