We finally started just using the temp code all the time. That worked great until it didn't. I rented the space, but my husband was always the one who needed access. I was working and he was getting us ready to sell it house. AA refused to talk to him because his name wasn't in the lease. They also wouldn't let me authorize him to speak to them or access the space without me. We still have about 5 months before we move to our new house and we will be changing to a different facility. In researching other facilities we found several places where we could rent a bigger space for less money. Overall, not impressed with AA Storage. One star because the location is convenient, but weighed against the other inconvenience is not worth it.

I had a couple of major surgeries, and she would not work with me on payments when I fell a little behind. I was also missing a couple of items in my unit, that she will take no accountability for. Susie was uncaring of the look of the property, the security is terrible, and it's evident by the over all look of the business. I asked for a letter to provide to my insurance (we have coverage through our renters insurance) and the manager refused. Don rent a unit here unless you want your stuff ruined. To top it off, I just looked they're increasing my monthly rate again! Seems like every few months they jack the rate up (as of this week they're being sued in NYC for their predatory practices and lack of maintenance) It gets even better. I called the number in the they replied with in my Google review and the store manager brushed me off and told me to call their corporate "representatives." What a joke of customer service! Just heard on the radio there have been 117 claims at this facility due to mice/rodents! Sounds like time for a class action lawsuit!

Supposedly they "sent us a card giving us warning" but we never received anything. They have an email address, they could have sent it there! Also the last month every time we went to the unit, the security gate has never been shut when we arrived, does not shut while we are there or after. So much for being a secure location. When we called them about the price increase their only response was we can discount it for next month. Funny that the response is they want to provide "top notch service". Pretty sure that's not what's been provided at all. The lady in the office is frequently bitter and cranky and their idea of top notch is to double rates but not do anything to change the actual facility. Just beware if you decide to use them. They get you with a "deal" and then rip you off within 3 months.
