I wish that there was an Easy Storage in every state! The convenience of their self serve kiosk is such an ingenious idea! There's absolutely NO hassle with setting up an appointment with their office staff. You just drive up to the kiosk, choose the size of your unit, and rent right there! The facility is completely safe. Iron gates all around and a main iron gate that in order to enter, you must key in your personal access code. Many facilities in Ogden that we researched prior to going with Easy Storage, did not have the kind of protected properties that we found with them. Lastly, Joan and the staff at Easy Storage are so easy to work with. Always professional and courteous. There was an incident with a payment which they misplaced about 8 months ago which was difficult to sort out with them, but still, it was ok until this month. I called in October to let them know I was vacating as there is a 2 week notice requirement. At the time they said, no problem, let us know when everything is out. My bank sent a check for November rent on 11/1. I called again in November to let them know I would be out that week, again, they responded with great, let us know when you are completely out. I vacated on the 11th and called on the 12th to let them know and find out how I get my pro-rated refund for the month. Their response...we won't give one. ??? Yeah, if you hadn't paid us on the second, we could have done it they said. I don't understand what difference that makes so I continued to press her that no one told me that in the recent communications, but she was firm, condescending, and rude. "I can't read your mind" was one comment. "We have 564 other customers who are just fine with this policy" It's an arbitrary policy, that allows them to collect double rent on partial months, which is ripping people off basically. I told her that would prevent me from using them again if this couldn't be resolved. Her response, "That's fine" with a silent "I don't care" attitude. So they don't care about return customers and I really won't be back and I'm going to tell all my friends not to use this company either.

Great security system, great lighting, and on-premise management that lives on site. Second, the pricing is reasonable. If you find a better price they will match it and they are forever running specials to be competitive and keep the place full. My favorite thing is how accommodating they are. Need power? They find a unit close to an outlet. Need better access? They find a unit you can back a trailer to. Need a truck? They have a box truck they loan out for free to storage customers. It's more than just a shed.

I ended up having to short change my loads and drop them early to beat the gates and wait until 9am to do loads in the morning. I have never moved and NOT needed a late or an early entrance to my storage. These guys don't have anY way to make a singlevexception to this, which MAkes the facility difficult to work with. I got past the initial move in, but the hours have continued to be an issue. I often don't know my schedule the next day until 7pm and I have repeatedly had to begin my day without items because the gates are closed. Three Sundays ago, as I I did another large move, I had two guys with trucks and trailers paid and loaded we got to the unit, and on a Sunday (1st Sunday of the month, the 3rd) with NO NOTICE of ANY KIND, THE GATES WERE CLOSED ALL DAY LONG. This company has no problem locking you out of your belongings if your a day late. It would be easier to swallow if someone were apologetic or even accountable, but there were no explanations or apologies to be had when asked why I was locked out on an important day when I had trucks rented and people paid. Lastly, the unlike are not water safe. Last week, I found a pool of water inside the unit from a fairly light rain. It reached over 18 inches in the unit and my gardening tools ..shovels rakes etc were just sitting in a pool of standing water. I can't justify paying this company again. Especially after a rent raise with no prior notice or anY improvements in the facility or with anY customer service. I'm finished. Heed this warning and don't set yourself up for disappointment.

My unit on Grant was going fine until I discovered a huge hole in the roof that was leaking which took them almost a month to repair. Although they were courteous to work with it, took quite a while to get this done. The unit they offered to move me to was in much worse shape so I just waited and moved everything to one side of the unit and covered it up with plastic until work was completed. It worked out but was frustrating. a few months later, I finally got a unit at the apartment complex I live at so by so I decided to leave the unit at stock and lock. I notified them via phone the weekend before I planned to move out. That weekend I went to get the last of my things and they had put a lock on the unit. This was the 2nd of the month. I usually had until the 5th to pay the balance without having any additional fees or having my unit locked. They refused to give me entry to the unit without me paying for another month. They would not pro rate it nor acknowledge any fault on their part for locking the unit early. They said I had to notify them by email and my agreement was in my online portal which I could not ever find. They also said they called me the morning after but I don't check voicemails often and my voicemail message says to text or email me. My contact preference is also set to text or email. They wouldn't listen to me or work with me after all the time and money I spent there. There were also 2 units being lived out of on the Grant location and it's always littered with garbage. Avoid the headache. Pay a little more to go elsewhere.
