All of which is to be expected in a handyman. But here's where he earned five stars and then some. We had a plumber over at the same time to replace a toilet. Would have cost us upwards of $500 all in, and we were only replacing it on the plumber's recommendation. Fortunately Russ was there, and while he was a professional and didn't step on the other guys toes, I noticed he seemed like he wanted to say something. So after talking to him, I learned that a toilet replacement is not at all difficult, and nor is a rebuild, and he would be happy to do either for just his hourly rate. So we replaced the toilet for less than half the price the plumber wanted. Honest, hard-working, and dependable, and above all with our interests in mind.

Originally I was given a quote of $150 for labor and $150 for material when the job was done that invoice doubled to $350.. The job wasn't done so I had made it clear to the Handy Man that I would not be paying him until the job was done. I had hired him to do some light painting on several walls as well as fixing a railing. He did fix the railing, but the paint that he chose to match up with the other paint did not match at all, so therefore the job that I had hired him to do wasn't done All I'm going to say it was high would highly suggest staying away from this Handy Man

We were very impressed with Wasatch Movers from beginning our search for a moving firm, to the…read moreestimates, to the follow up by both the Operations Manager and Crystal, our contact, prior to the move and most especially to the professional three-man crew sent to move our 4 bedroom, two story house contents from North Salt Lake to Layton. Immediately I preferred my voice mails, text, e mails and best of all phone conversations with Crystal as she was not calling from a busy call center. Wasatch does not charge a separate several hundred dollar fee to drive to your location and back to their location. They merely start the clock when the crew leaves their place of business at the same hourly rate for a two, three or four man crew and truck. They also do not charge 18% of the total bill as an extra "Fuel Charge." This fee was well hidden in the fine print for most of their competitors. My total bill was more than $100 LESS than the low side of the estimate scale per the mover websites. None of our belongings were damaged and my son who is an experienced employee supervisor was very impressed with their quick and efficient work. Highly recommend these movers.
