I lost my car keys while I was walking my dog. Even though I had a spare key and not locked out of my car my concern was someone having my car key and stealing my car. I called a couple locksmith companies and explained my situation they did not offer any solutions. I found lock Xperts locksmith on yelp called Eric he said he can delete all previous keys from my car computer this way all the previous keys won't be able to start the car. He deleted the previous keys and had me try my key to show me everything is deleted and then reprogrammed the key. He was honest and told me whoever has the other key even though they can't start the car but they will be able to open the car using the old key. He said I have the option of changing the car door locks or rekey them or keep it original. I decided to keep my locks original. From now on Eric is my personal locksmith. Showed up in a marked, company vehicle and in uniforms which I found reassuring, not like some random person is picking my lock. I have high-security locks on my home and they had a plethora of tools they were able to try until they found the right one. Finally found someone to make my car key. I lost my car keys at work and did not have any spare keys. I searched and called a few locksmiths but all of them were residential and commercial locksmiths and would not work on automotive, one of the locksmiths gave me lock Xperts phone number I called them the tech (I didn't catch his name) showed up in 15 minutes and he made me the same kind of key I used to have with remote. Tonight was so scary I buckled up my 3 year old and one year old in their car seats inside a car rental I put the keys in the driver seat so my one year old doesn't press the alarm at 11 pm at night. Instead of the remote start to happen it aborted and it locked the doors and my two kids were locked in too. I called the car rental AVIS and they were horrible I waited on the line with them they said they would dispatch someone and once they did they would let me know I called them back 4 times and no luck. I contacted dodge separately to get their emergency services they were going to take long too but had them on the way I called the police they were going to break the window and recommended using the emergency roadside instead unless the kids were in distress.
