Am I being to picky, don't have the right size, my laundry method, etc. I have made multiple size purchases of the same t-shirts, changed laundry cycle and have kept buying t-shirts for the possibility that I may have had bad luck with individual T-shirt of the production lot. Nothing has changed. Something just feels off with the T-shirts they stock from my experience. I have purchased some of the same shirts online from other vendors to see how they fit in comparison-they haven't arrived yet. This is an odd review I know, but I just want to have it out there in case someone else is experiencing the same. Although it probably just me being overly picky. Thanks!

I told her he was a service dog and she said he wasn't because he wasn't wearing a vest. I told her it wasn't required for a dog to wear a vest. She said that it was and that they didn't allow dogs because they pee in the store. I told her that that wasn't a properly trained service dog then and that my dog had never peed in any establishment. Then she went on to tell me I couldn't bring my dog in because she had her 16 year old dog in the store and her dog has a medical condition. I told her again that it was against the law to deny access to a service animal. She said without proper paperwork she wouldn't let me in. I informed her that there is no such legal documentation nor is it legal to ask for documentation and that by ADA laws you can ask 2 questions: "is this a service animal and required because of a disability?" And "what work or task has this animal been trained to preform?" This information is posted prominently on the ADA.gov website and is easily accessible. She asked me the questions and I told her that he was a medical alert dog trained for cardiac alert and she said that's not real. I once again informed her that denying us access was illegal. She told me that it was just store policy and she's just an employee. So my dog and I left. I didn't see it posted anywhere that only service animals were allowed. Until they inform themselves of the law and inform their employees I cannot recommend going to this store. (Also why is your 16 year old dog allowed to be in the store but my service animal isn't??)

I knew from just one phone call that I dodged a bullet. The man who answered the phone at 10:30am didn't even know the terminology for a blazer, which was already alarming. On top of that, he immediately assumed I was old and overweight simply because I asked if they could adjust a blazer that was a little snug under the arms. That kind of response is completely unprofessional and made it feel like they didn't even want my business or to take the time to help me. For a first encounter, this is not how you run a business or treat potential customers. Honestly, after this experience I'm starting to think a lot of the positive reviews here might not be genuine. Definitely not a place I would ever recommend and yes, as a well known influencer this will definitely be a story time on my IG avoid this place smh

A gentleman, whom I refer to as the store manager, translated my requests to the seamstress downstairs. I then returned to the main showroom, and the owner quoted me a price. I picked up the items without the chance to try them on due to scheduling constraints, and later that day, I found the alterations to be unprofessional and not in line with the price I was charged. I was leaving for vacation and could not address it immediately. Upon my return, I showed the store manager my concerns and asked how we could rectify the situation. He advised me to speak with the owner, who was unavailable, and to come back in a week. A week later the owner still wasn't there. The store manager suggested I call the owner, and I asked if he could call him while I was there. He mentioned he doesn't always answer his calls. I said, so why would he answer a call from a number he's not familiar with? In the meantime, I took the two pieces to another tailor to see what could be done to make them wearable. After months of many visits, I reiterated that the work done did not reflect what I paid for and requested a refund. The store manager asked to see the pieces again, I explained that what was done could have been done by me, and he responded, "so why didn't you do it yourself?" I then stated I wanted a refund so I could take them to a proper tailor. He called the seamstress, and they spoke in Spanish about possible fixes. He explained she could complete the additional alterations, and I could pick them up on Thursday, with later delays pushing pickup to Saturday. After four months, the garments are finally wearable.

Hub City Soles is giving urban hidden gem but do proceed with caution…read more Setting expectations up front: 1) There's no street or private parking. You'll want the municipal parking deck at the end of the street across the way. Short walk, no drama. 2) The shop sits in a classic American Foursquare that's been converted into multi-unit use, very on-brand for older New Brunswick neighborhoods near downtown. You'll head up a narrow flight of wooden stairs to get inside. Heads up: not handicap accessible, so accessibility is a real consideration here. 3) Once you step in, you'll immediately clock a strong weed aroma. As it turns out, they also run a cannabis shop downstairs via the rear entrance. Just calling it like it is. 4) The shoe displays are clean, organized, and well maintained. Inventory is solid with plenty of options, and everything is laid out in a way that makes browsing and finding what you want super convenient. The cherry on top? You can scan a QR code on the door to search what's in stock by your exact size. #winning A couple of downsides to note: A) Based on my experience, they don't offer price matching. For example, I saw the Nike SB Dunk Nardwuar priced at $300, while StockX had them valued around $225, and there was no flexibility on price. B) Another thing is the display shoes aren't protected (no plastic coverings). If there's only one size available and the pair is suede or light-colored, best believe it's going to show wear from customers handling them. I noticed this with a few pairs I was seriously considering. Bottom line it's a quirky location with some logistical hurdles, but if you're coming for the hype shoes, Hub City Soles delivers where it counts.
