I was having the hardest time finding a salon that wouldn't overdo my brows, despite my being very clear in asking. It's taken me years to get any growth out of my right one specifically. I went 5 days before my wedding - plenty of time to let weirdness die down before the big day. Masks were required, they enforced social distancing & the technicians were cleaning & sanitizing at every step. Their customer service was very good and my brows turned out better than they've ever been. Plenty of hair still in place to help shape new growth, no redness and my makeup artist even said how nice & clean they were! Pictures came out great and I've found my new "home salon!" Definitely do Killer.

The finished work shows visible, high-contrast surface highlights rather than the soft, blended look I requested. I've attached photos of my hair before the appointment, the reference photo, and the result for clear comparison. Because the outcome missed the mark so significantly, I consulted with a reputable stylist in Los Angeles, where I live. I was informed that the work now requires a full color correction, quoted at $600, to undo and rebalance the highlight pattern. This is especially frustrating given that I started with virgin hair and specifically asked for a conservative approach. Lexi did offer to have me come back in to fix the color, but given the initial result, I no longer felt confident that a corrective outcome could be achieved and did not feel comfortable proceeding. I paid $200 to Lexi for this service. When I followed up with documented concerns about the result, I received a generic "no refunds" message rather than a discussion of the outcome or how it differed from what was requested. The girls at the front desk are always friendly and attentive ... and even if they do try to sell me on the monthly wax packages, they do it in a way that says they care about me saving money on services. Lauren has been my go-to technician since I started coming here ... and she's easily the best waxer I've ever had. She's fast and thorough, and makes you feel comfortable during the less enjoyable parts of a wax. I would definitely recommend booking with Lauren. That said, my most recent visit was with a different technician because Lauren was on vacation. I do wish the front desk had called me to let me know, because it was a complete surprise to me when I showed up for my appointment ... and it's kind of a process to prepare yourself when you're getting a wax from someone new. Either way - I still had a good experience, and already booked my next appointment.

There are SO many specials, packages, discounts etc. Always being offered I can understand the confusion. BUT knowing I added an additional service based on the 50% off, it should have been honored. I will be looking for another place with better customer service.
