Which for curly hair girlies getting your hair washed usually means knots and tangles and fingers stuck in all your hair. There was none of this. And they give a nice little scalp massage. Then when you return to your seat they give you a neck and shoulder massage with essentials to fit your mood. All complimentary! Biz, herself, was easy to communicate my desired look with and she understood it to a "T" and delivered great results. I absolutely loved my transformation. Going from long hair to short hair can be scary and Biz made sure we were both on the same page for expectations. I also loved how she didn't push product or add ons. She gladly told me what products she used when I asked (because my hair looked the most fabulous it ever has, no frizz) but never gave me a sales pitch or pressure to buy or spend money I wasn't wanting to. In the end I got a fabulous new look and exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be returning to Biz at Industry for more hair needs.

I was charged 30 dollars for the consult which I was fine with until Sophia wanted to charge me 400$ for full foils and refused to help me find a solution within my 250$ budget. (mind you I noted that I was okay with any solution as long as it fit in my budget and made my hair look better than it did). Definitely don't recommend.

I am letting my silver grow out and after a great consultation Jim went to work, adding highlights and lowlights, doing all kind of magic, and gave me a fresh cut afterwards. I was super nervous of how my hair would turn out since this is not an easy transition for me going from medium brown to my now silver. My fears were unfounded and my hair turned out amazing! She cut it dry, but didn't actually cut anything. I wish I was joking, she pulled hair out with her fingers, snapped the scissors, but not on my hair. Then said she wasn't going to wash it.... For 50$ it's included so I kindly asked her to wash it. Huge mistake. Should have just left. Only wet and washed the top cone of my head. The front pieces and around my neck weren't ever touched, product wasn't fully washed out. She proceeded to add 7-8 products to my hair while drying it, I looked like Cameron Diaz on there's something about Mary when I left. It was so oily and greasy and disgusting. I cried in the car after wasting that kind of time and money. The girl was so so nice, but worst hair experience ever. My usual hair girl was on maternity leave, so I was desperate for a cut. I told my usual hair girl about it and she informed me the salon owner tends to bully those that leave poor reviews about the salon on social media pretty hard- she showed me and I was appalled. The salon itself is very "liberal" politically with all the signage and stickers and conversation. I don't really care and respect everyone's right to their opinion and free speech- just a weird environment for a professional salon in my personal opinion. I won't be back and hopefully other girls there are much better. I think mine was new, but wow, for an hour and $60 (with tip) I was largely disappointed to say the least.

Most importantly, she listens and she's honest about what will and what won't work. For example, my hair will not hold red colors despite Nicole's best efforts. I appreciate that my stylist was willing to say that I needed to stop trying with the red because I was just wasting my money. The salon is clean and cute. All the stylists are friendly and I love to see all the different things they are working on during my visits. They continue to expand their line of services and now offer hair extensions, lash extensions, nails and so much more.

This woman looked insulted when I showed her a blonde photograph(I assumed this was too much work for her to do) she assumed we were there for highlights. I said no all over color as she has heavy highlights. She looked puzzled, I said look if you are unable to do this I would be happy to go else where. She said no I got this now, my daughter sits she applies die all over and sets a 25 minute timer. During this time we learn she's getting ready for a concert eating dinner clearly excited for her plans (no harm there). Till my daughter's hair is dyed brown with what was supposed to be a trim looks like a toddler chopped away at the ends of her hair with dull play scissors. I will never ever return to this establishment and I will indefinitely share this expirence with everyone I know. My 14 year old devastated at the beginning of a very important chapter of her life. Feelings about this are hard to even shape into words at this point. Good luck to anyone who goes here even if its free I highly advise against it.
