I made a reservation for a weekend brunch thinking that it would be crowded, but wasn't. However, it is good to make one to avoid disappointment. Tables are placed near to each other and noise level is pretty high, thus having private conversations would be tough. My waitress took a pretty long time to get back to my table and I had to search for her to get my order placed. My partner and I had the Anaheim grilled chicken (changed to fried chicken), loaded baked potato soup, and the smoked salmon avocado toast with poached eggs. My food was served room temperature, especially the potato soup, which made the soup taste blah. One of the poached eggs was overcooked, which was fine since it was a difficult ingredient to master. The fried chicken was dry, and room temperature fried chicken with sauce just didn't taste good. Food portions were just right for one hungry person. There are outdoor, indoor, and bar seatings. Parking is plenty and free.

Veggie burger was good and very big. Had it with sweet potatoes fries which were delicious. My friend had the chicken salad with fruit and chips which she said was good. Service was quick and efficient. Place was crowded and noisy. Conversation was difficult. Parking lot was full at noon in Friday.

Hidden gem!!! Wow this place was good. Came here for brunch and got the recover burrito and the huevos rancheros. The food was fresh and prepared with care. Well seasoned and large portions. The restaurant was clean and busy but the service was still excellent. We will happily return to try their dinner menu.

What a fun spot! Really nice atmosphere and relaxed vibe. We ordered the bacon jam club sandwich, the gyro plate, roasted beet poke bowl and the Local burger. All were great, no issues with anything. I want to highlight the burger however and it's juicy beef. The fries were decent, might like to try their homemade chips next time. Servers were attentive and helpful and kept our water glasses filled. Really happy to have this fun restaurant in the neighborhood.

Local Table is new to our area so we had to check it out. We went in to get a seat but only outside was open unless you wanted to wait 45 minutes for inside( which we did because it was chilly outside) . We got our name and number on the list and went to wait in the car. 20 minutes went by and I asked my husband if he received the you're on the waiting list text and he didn't so he went inside and the lady said that we got a text 20 minutes ago (which was when we were in the restaurant) which we didn't....so we were seated immediately since there were seats open and others were just walking in and being seated....this was weird to us...since we really shouldn't have had to wait. We sat off from the bar and our waitress was amazing. We got a little of everything and it was all soo good! We got the Crab cake Benedict, french toast, Philly Cheesesteak, Frozen Mango drink and kids plate. The restaurant is very nice and spotless. Im glad we didn't let our experience with check in make us check out. We will definitely be back!

This place is a must-try! We went for lunch on a Thursday and were completely blown away by the renovations. It really looks like a brand new place. The service and food were great. I'll definitely be back!

So this place has been so many things but this may be the best! Seeing reviews we decided to check it out. The menu is diverse, something for everyone! I think the highest priced item, a steak is around $30. So very reasonably priced. I had the lemon pasta with chicken. The chicken was very tender and the flavor was great. Took half of it home. My husband had the honey ginger glazed salmon and it was amazing! He got green beans instead of the veggies and said they were kind of bland. We both got a slice of bread that was buttered and grilled and it was really good! We drank water and our bill before tip was $47. The ambience was nice, music not too loud. Lots of people but didn't feel crowded. I will say we hardly saw a server, seemed to change part way through or they were tag teaming. We had at least one manager ask how things were. They put a water carafe at the table so we really didn't need anything. At one point someone apologized for the wait on food but it was maybe 15 minutes from ordering to arrival. We will def be back!

Just what this area desperately needed. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Nicely revamped inside. Nice bar area. Menu has a great selection. Decided to get meatloaf which was very tasty and seasoned well. Mashed potatoes with the sauce was also a nice touch. The green beans could have been sautéed better since they were hard as well as the garlic bread. Lemon chicken pasta was delicious. Also, I noticed everyone needed straws and most drink were served with barely any ice. Hope they can remedy that. The only con is with our young inexperienced waitress. The manager was there to swoop in and I appreciated that. Will come back to try more of the menu.

Decent food, ambiance, portions, service kind of ignored us since they were busy. A decent time but keep in mind it can get very loud when it gets busy

I got the burger American and it was amazing! My waitress Shana really was attentive even though the restaurant was packed. Very pretty inside and a good variety to pick from.

    Kebab Local's Kabob Plate

Went for the first time and had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was not oily, it was very crispy and the waffle was nice and fluffy yet crisp. My wife had the kebab plate with the grilled veggies, and my son had the cheesesteak

He ended up being one of the best aspects of our experience that evening. Our waitress wasn't nearly as good. We started by asking for ice in the water from the waitress since they just give you room temp water. After 10 mins of seeing her serve other tables and ignoring our request, we then figured the water boy would make it happen...and sure enough he did. We then ordered the grilled oysters, which are very lightly cooked, almost seemingly steamed more than anything, but they were very good regardless of the cooking method with the sauces and garnishes and pickle juice added. Next up was ordering the entrees. The menu here is a little strange with numerous vegan choices with strange titles and only a few items with protein. To top it off, there are not many choices period. The waitress explained that the left side is basically the apps, and the right side is basically the entrees. I knew I wanted to try the wagyu flat iron steak which is priced pretty high here, compared to other wagyu flat irons I've had at other restaurants across the US. We couldn't really decide on a 2nd main dish then the waitress mentioned the off the menu special which was a scallop pasta so we picked that thinking it sounded delicious. The entrees come out about 15 mins later, and we take our first bites and we both thought, oh no, if we share the other person across from me isn't going to like this dish because it's too salty. I tried the steak first and noticed the sauce being extra salty, then I tried the pasta and the pasta was way worse, but the scallops didn't seem to be affected. We immediately told the waitress the next time she stopped by....and she just said okay, and walked away. I figured she would go get the manager....but nope...she just kept on serving other tables. At this point we thought to ourselves only the oyster app was decent.....and no reason to look at the dessert menu since we had already spent over $100 on food we could hardly eat. Sure enough, the waitress stops by a 2nd time and asks if we'd like to see the dessert menu. I couldn't leave fast enough and told her we'll skip. Needless to say we both left hungry as the portions were not only not edible, but also fairly small. The water boy also stopped by and offered to turn on the heater if we get cold. Boy, I wish he was our waiter instead. For a supposedly Michelin-starred restaurant, I feel they really got this one wrong.

Not worth getting on your first visit but a nice dish on its own. - Butternut squash: 8/10 I can't remember much about this dish except that I enjoyed it :) - Pork collar Milanese: 9/10 Like a much better version of a schnitzel - Dumplings: 9/10 Just read the description on the menu and you know it's gonna be good. Ricotta? Brown butter? Yup amazing! Creamy, delicate, but not just a big mush that makes me want to gag. - Lamb ribs: 9/10 Nicely smoked, all around good balanced flavor - Wagyu bavette: 10/10 So good! Tender and juicy. But at this point in the meal, I'm usually pretty stuffed and the portion size is pretty decent. I would enjoy it even more if we didn't always order so many other small plates haha - Mushrooms: 9/10 Mushroom haters, please try this! You may change your mind! It changed my friend's mind that also doesn't like mushrooms. Service: - Always a good time. Checks in but not overbearing. Ambiance is slightly upscale but still relaxed. Doesn't feel uppity. - One time, we got free dessert. We were the last party in there so they probably just wanted to get rid of it. The cookie was so good! I've also been for brunch but have since forgotten what we've ordered. I just remember enjoying it a lot more than expected. Can't wait to go back again!

Food is excellent. Outstanding biscuits, shrimp polenta, mocktails, and the Dutch baby was fun. We…read morehappened to get lucky and reserved the cute patio on one of the few perfect weather days in Houston. Why only three stars? Service was odd to say the least. To start, we were lightly scolded for ordering three food items from the menu--we ordered mocktails to start--and between the two of us we don't eat large portions. If you don't think we're ordering enough food, it'd be nice to be informed that the portions are small if you're concerned about us being unsatisfied. As our plates came out, they were served with a perfunctory description of what we ordered and nothing else was said before they rushed off to be somewhere else. We don't expect to be doted on, but the overall vibe was standoffish on a quiet morning. Given they prefer full orders up front for pacing purposes, and our server was enforcing cups on coasters, we thought it was odd that our plates weren't refreshed between courses. I don't mind reusing the jam and butter covered plate to eat my polenta, but it conflicted with what the restaurant is trying to project. Overall, food was good, service was weird. Likely won't be back because Agnes & Sherman is right down the street and is so much better.
