If you are ever in Braselton, say for the big race weekend at Road Atlanta, this is a great watering hole! I came in after a very long two days of work and the bartenders were so nice and helpful. I ordered a ginger ale & bourbon drink first, and next the bartender turned me on to a new twist on a Moscow Mule - i'm calling it the "Kentucky Mule". It's got bourbon (duh), ginger beer and freshly squeezed lemon! To balance it out, I got an order of their seafood dip appetizer (Lobster, crab, shrimp, cheese and herbs) with house made pita chips. Wow! I also got a side of sweet potato fries to balance the sweetness and they were good as well. Again, I cannot say enough good things about the friendly staff here. What a find! Cruising Braselton after a business conference and I stumble upon the Local Station. A super friendly staff and a bartender (the lovely Kelsie) who knew exactly how to make a perfect Negroni. May have been her first but it was like hitting a home run at the first time at bat. They have a delightful selection of gins, including Aviation, which worked well for their signature cocktail, the Lakeside, as well as the Negroni. What a fine! Fresh ingredients are impressive. We had the double lobster rolls, sweet potato fries, the fresh salad with apple, pistachio nuts and the lobster, crab and shrimp dip we took home and had for dinner were all delicious also. Christina was an excellent server. We'll be back. read more

We ordered our food at 6:45PM and did not receive our food till 8:17 PM! It was a Sunday evening so they were basically out of most alcoholic drinks , lobster and a few other things. I wished they told us there was ONLY one cook at arrival and it may take some time to get our food! I would give them another try only on a Tuesday or Friday (that's when they get their seafood shipments.) And of course when they have more cooks/chefs in the back. Love this little bar and restaurant on the point/corner in downtown Braselton. Wonderful craft cocktails and nice menu selections. Had the muscles which were excellent. The stack burger with pimento cheese was good, but nothing I would make a special trip to get. I know I missed out on some of the other great items on the menu, but I was in the mood for a burger. This place is amazing. The food was flavorful and the presentation was beautiful. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff. Sarah at the bar is a delight. She is extremely attentive and friendly. The cocktail menu is fun. I ordered the Hot Buttered Hazelnut Whiskey from the winter seasonal list. It was very hot (in a perfect way) and delicious. Our first visit and we loved it!! The environment is comfortable with hues of gray throughout. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable offering menu recommendations. The food was excellent from the double stack to the fish taco and the homemade chips compliment the dishes. I heartily recommend this Braselton gem! We have returned several times and it is still one of the best places for awesome cuisine in the Braselton area. However, beware it is not a child friendly place. We invited a friend to meet us for lunch and she brought her grandchild. To our embarrassment, there are no high chairs available so she had to hold the child the entire length of our lunch which obviously was not enjoyable to her. I am not opposed to an adult only environment but was embarrassed by not knowing ahead of time. Also, I am not sure if it was because there was a child, but server was mediocre. read more

The ability to orchestrate such an amazing combination of winning components that makes this restaurant what it is, is a glowing accolade to the owner! I took my husband there last night for his birthday. The steak, carrots and twice-baked potato was the best we've ever had, honestly! I wish we lived closer so we could go there weekly! My house salad was delicious, too. The manager, Ethan, was very kind and had my husbands favorite drink ready when we were seated, as I had requested. The service was perfect. We are in Braselton for Ferrari Race Weekend and all of Jack's restaurants were recommended. Local Station seated us on Friday night in less than 15 minutes. The management and servers were incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and attentive (thanks, Taylor). The ribeye was outstanding. The Brussels sprouts were great, and I don't even care for Brussels Sprouts. The other patrons were friendly and talkative. A terrific evening all around. read more

First I would say it was my second time coming here. The first time service was good and only had drinks and appetizers. I thought I would try it again. Well this time the service wasn't good as the first. I had something twice floating in my water that look like a small bug. Secondly, it took them well over 45 minutes to bring two burgers to our table. It was several guest that came in after us and they got their food within 15-20 minutes. The place wasn't busy it was lunch time. I do say this place doesn't have a lot of diversity. I was hoping when we went back the second time we felt welcomed. We will not return. Also, we ordered burger double w/o cheese when we did get our food after waiting 45-50 minutes. It had to be sent back because it was a single with cheese. That just made things worst. I will not return. I hope the owner or whoever want to know customer feed back look into this review. Was exploring downtown braselton (finally) and decided to eat here. We had just walked out on the brewery down the street so figured this place seemed cute. Plus we have our Frenchie so we were able to sit outside. The service was great and my fish taco was wonderful. The portion was perfect and seasoned. I feel this place is a great example of post recession America and our resurgent obsession with great, small food places. I last came through this town eight years ago to do a photo shoot and I could never imagine a restaurant like this would exist in this town. Passing through town and had some time to kill I decided to get dinner and found this place through yelp. I stopped at the bar got a beer and some food and was very happy with the whole experience. The bartender was great and the service was with a smile. The locals were friendly and drinking and everyone was having a good time and talking. The food was tasty and everything I would want it to be. On the menu they have a "bowl" option - pick a carb, pick up protein and pick a sauce. I chose steak, quinoa and New Orleans sauce. The steak was tender and juicy and the quinoa was perfectly cooked. The New Orleans sauce had celery tomato and a few pieces of sausage in it and unfortunately wasn't spicy but made a good complement to the quinoa. The hundred came with a side of fresh fruit: BlackBerries blueberries and strawberries. The only neg would be no draft beers. The bar is well stocked but I would've liked my beer fresh. This quaint restaurant has easily earned its place as my "go to" for a nice relaxing dinner. The feel is very homey - hardwood floors, wooden tables, and small rooms that seat a select number of guests. Don't go here thinking you are going to spread out and have tons of privacy. The caprese salad was a great starter - but dinner was nothing but wonderful. Salmon was the catch of the day. I commented to our server that I just had salmon at another restaurant this week, and she promised that her dad :) would make it special. That he did ! The salmon alone was grilled and delicious, but he topped it with some fresh lobster - yum. The sides of carrots, asparagus, and some potatoes with a little more lobster made this a treat indeed. The wine list is small but adequate, and all the pricing is reasonable. If you go when weather is nice, you'll see Local at its best. The bar is open to the outside and the patio is perfect for dinner or drinks - and they are dog friendly. I'll be back, as often as I can ! read more
