They came up in a couple of hours after the request, and finished to replace the pipe in one day, which is unexpectedly great! What can I say about these guys, especially Trieu (our plumber). They saved our day after we had a clog in our main line in the early evening. He was thorough, patient and easy to work with on helping us to get the line cleared. He explained things and was knowledgeable on the work that needed to be done. What was especially awesome was how freaking clean and organized he kept his truck! We've all had a plumber, electrician, etc. come out with a crazy disorganized truck that they spend a long time looking for that one tool! Tony was extremely responsive and prompt when it came to our "emergency". We had a main line backup and Tony showed up on a weekend within a couple of hours. The issue turned out to be larger than we thought and it ended up being a week-long project. Tony and his team worked through the 40 degree rain during a holiday weekend to make sure they completed everything on time. I've worked with plumbers in the past who would've definitely taken the day off due to weather. Not Tony's team...they set up pop-ups and pushed through. We had a leak from the ceiling in our garage. My wife found this Plumbing company through Yelp. I called and Tai showed up within an hour! I had called two other 5-star rated companies the other days but they were either busy and one never returned my call. Tai was courteous and straight forward. After assessing the leak, he showed me the cause of the problem and gave me a reasonable quote. Thai ("Vo" on his t-shirt) and Thanh were amaaaaazing...! I had them come down because both toilets and showers were clogged due to a poor design a previous plumber did to my house. Not only did they clean out my drains, but they also replaced my old piping system with a new and more innovative design. It was truly fascinating. [My first Yelp review.] I urgently needed a plumber, so I hopped on Yelp. I searched for "Plumbing", sorted by "Highest Rated." After reading many positive reviews for "Local Rooter & Plumbing", we called them and hoped for the best. Well, we *got* the best...Skyler! This guy rocked. First, he was at our home fast (15-20 min.) at 8:00p at night. Our issue: We had a back up in the shower the previous day, which Drano and hot water solved. However, the very next day our washing machine drain over-flowed in the garage, and water was also backing-up into our kitchen sink. When Skyler arrived, he called us outside to our main sewer clean-out near our curb to give us some sewer education. He said, "Before I open the clean-out cap, one of two things will happen. First, if water over-flows as I open the cap, this is a 'City' issue. It will be the City's responsibility of fix your problem, at no cost to you. Second, if no water over-flows after opening the cap, then the problem lies within your home." Without knowing this information, how many other companies might milk this problem if it was indeed a 'City' issue? Not Local Rooter. Skyler was completely upfront and honest. When he lifted the cap, no water appeared. Therefore, the blockage was somewhere within the sewer lines of our home. Next, we walked toward the house, outside the kitchen window nearest to the sink. That's where the front-of-the-house 'clean-out' is located at most homes. This sewer line runs through the stucco wall of your home, and is capped outside the house. Unfortunately, for us, we had our house re-stucco'd a few years back, and the contractor dropped stucco cement on the clean-out cap! This effectively cemented the cap to the wall of our home. Did this stop Skyler? Not at all. Skyler patiently, chipped away at the cement until he was able to loosen the cap with a *lot* of leverage and one gigantic plumbing wrench. Skyler never complained. Unbelievable. He just got down to business. Next, he snaked our sewer line, all the way back to the last toilet. When he was done, he didn't leave. He asked us to run a "Quick" cycle on our washing machine, just to make sure the sewer line was clear. He patiently waited until the washing machine 'drain' cycle began, 10 minutes later. There was no more flooding. He asked us to run the kitchen sink on full-blast, as well. There was no water back-up. Our problem was completely solved, yet Skyler continued to amaze us. Instead of simply re-attaching the (previously) stucco-cemented cap, Skyler completely scrubbed and cleaned the cap. He then applied 'plumbers tape' to the threads of the cap before re-attaching it to the wall of our home. This will make the cap water-proof as well as easier to remove in the future. Our job came with a warranty, at a *very* fair price. We cannot say enough about the professionalism of Skyler and his total dedication to our job. Skyler is a hard working, non complaining, get-the-job-done *correctly* type of guy that any company would be lucky to have representing them. Excellent and honest service. Discovered the water main line was leaking after receiving a huge water bill. It was a Sunday when we called around for someone to come and give a quote but no one had any availability. After a quick phone call, I texted Duy our address and he came at the promised time that day! Gave us a reasonable fair quote and started that day! I am assuming the majority of the previous reviews written are by ghost accounts dishonest companies used to boost yelp and google ratings because my experience was the exact opposite. Last Tuesday I scheduled Duy to go to my property for an estimate on replacing the hot water heater and leak under the bathroom that our pest control person found. He gave me an estimate and told me Tino (his technician) would be out the next day to do the work. I am a 37 year home owner so i was aware that the estimate was high but I needed it repaired ASAP. Tino showed up, complained the entire time but eventually replaced the hot water heater. After installing it he left my property without cleaning up or finishing the work. He decided to leave prior to finishing the job because he received a call to go give another estimate to a different customer, which is highly UNPROFESSIONAL. Next it took over a week to get the next appointment to come fix the leak. This should have been done all the SAME DAY. He was scheduled for 9am, I made sure to confirm the night before since Tino & Duy had already been difficult & flaky. After all that hassle they still did not show up or call the next day for the appointment. I called and fired Tino and Duy. I then hired another plumber that showed up within an hour fixing the problem for 1/3 of the cost of Duy's estimate.
