The marks were very deep and very noticible. When I contacted Phil, the co-owner, he first directed me to his "partner" who initially told me that I would have to file a claim with my homeowners insurance. Then told me he could file a claim under their insurance but that I would have to pay a $500 deductible. All this was said without even asking what damage was done or looking at the damage. I then contacted Phil the following day, again introducing myself, and explaining my concerns. He interrupted me, told me he spoke with his two employees and that their "stories were consistent" in explaining that my mother told them to get the refrigerator through the door "by any means necessary" and that he didn't know what my mother was "trying to pull" but that I "clearly only believe what (I) want to believe." He went on to state that my description of the issue would "only take some paint and putty" and he still had not seen any of the damages or even requested to see the damages. He finally asked what I expected of him and he only offered an apology after I provided the expectation of an apology and to view the damages so that he could fix them. He then never responded to me or the pictures I sent to him. This company, specifically Phil, is clearly only interested in the money you give him, not in his personal integrity or the integrity of his company. Most of all, the belongings his company is in charge of moving, as well as the dwelling he is moving them to, is of no importance to him. Anyone who chooses them as their movers should prepare for damages to their belongings with no retribution or empathy. This is a terrible business with a terrible owner.

He identified the damage and said "I popped it (the bumper) back in. After texting multiple times over several weeks about how to file a claim and if he reached out to U-Haul he finally tells me they denied the claim. I got three bids and presented to Tim. I also authorized my employer to pay him the balance of the move trusting that as a Christian man he would do the right thing and pay for the repairs. Even after damaging my car, I gave them a few hundred dollars to treat themselves to a steak dinner. This is what I get for being nice!! Tim has given every excuse imaginable to delay paying for the damage to my vehicle. Likely because he doesn't want to pay or can't pay, regardless neither of these circumstances are my problem. He said that he would check with mechanics in KC!! I live in TX which is where the damages occured and where I will have a warranty on the repairs. I cannot help that repairs on my vehicle cost more in TX than they may cost in KC...again not my problem. I am taking legal action against this company and warning everyone about this company. I hired this company through UHaul, over a month prior to my move- 2 guys for 3 hours. I myself at…read morealmost 70 moved bulk of the house all small items for 4 days prior to big move. They were late due to GPS? 2 guys arrived, I provided the moving straps they had a dolly. Everything was going pretty good until they got to the frig (brand new by the way). The one guy did not know how to use the straps no matter how many times he was shown (4 times to be exact). They dropped my frig on the wooden stairs, had it not been for a friend of mine to take over the stairs could have been horribly damaged or frig destroyed. My NEW frig was tweaked it now has a dent in the side of the lower freezer door, Thankfully it still closes and works, I however did not notice the dent until UNFORTUNATELY after I had paid them. I have moved multiple times in my life but this was the most stressful. The 2nd mover of the 2 did do a good job, he was professional and did his best to compensate for the other.

Unfortunately, that is where the compliments end as we are very frustrated with our overall experience. We were moving from a 4 bedroom house to another 4 bedroom house 20 min away so we booked a 2 man crew for six hours with a 26ft truck. On the day of the move, they actually showed up with 3 helpers so we were thinking "great! it will go even faster!" Not the case--it took over 4 hrs just to load the first truck so by the time we got to the new house, we were already at hour 5 of the 6hrs allotted. I was fine paying for a couple hours extra if needed, but by the time the second was unloaded, we were at 12 hours and the job wasn't even complete, my husband and I still had to go back and move more stuff on our own. We were charged an extra $660 on top of the roughly $700 we had already spent. Definitely would not recommend.
