The movers even made comments about me to each other that was deeply unsettling. While Bellhop agreed to issue refunds, it is now refusing to honor those refunds. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!…read more I had an extremely easy move that was completed in under the 3 hour mimum, which was paid upfront(which was supposed to be authorization, only, but whatever ). They ended up charging me an extra $600 after the move concluded, with zero explanation. I've called 10 times while being hold for 40minutes+ each time. I have yet to speak to a human being. Its like their phone lines play hold music forever on end, with no intention in answering calls. I had to go a round about way to even find how to reach out to support. The chat feature doesn't work either. Ironically, my move went very smooth. No issues with my movers. I watched the mover scan my QR code when the move completed, and yet bellhop decided to charge for an additional 2ishhours for whatever reason. Also, I reached out for a refund for a portion of the time that was extended due to the mover going to wrong location(via email to support). They gave me a refund for that, but then said that's all they can refund. SAY WHAT!? Such a scam of a company. I'm a small business owner of multiple business and Im blown away by the lack of care and customer support. A lawsuit is impatiently knocking at their door.

Absolutely Outstanding Moving Experience!…read more I can't say enough good things about Great Day Moving. From the very first call to the final piece of furniture being placed exactly where I wanted it, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The team showed up on time, ready to work, and with a genuinely positive attitude that made the whole day feel easier. They handled every single item, big or small, with care and precision, wrapping and protecting things like they were moving their own belongings. Not a single scratch, dent, or issue. What really stood out was their work ethic. These guys hustle without cutting corners. They communicated clearly throughout the entire move, asked the right questions, and made sure everything was done the way I wanted. You can tell they take pride in doing the job right. Moving can be stressful, but with Great Day Moving, it honestly felt effortless. If you want a team that's respectful, efficient, trustworthy, and incredibly good at what they do, look no further. I'd recommend them 10/10 times. Thank you, Great Day Moving, for living up to your name and making it a truly great day!

I asked around, did some Internet searches, read some reviews and O'Connors Moving's name kept popping up. Heck, my storage unit even put in a good word for them. I called and scheduled a time to move what amounted to a one bedroom apartment's worth of items. O'Connors said three guys could do the job. Then they quoted me a price for three hours with an additional cost if the move took longer. I took their advice and away we went. The day of the move, the guys called and gave me about 15-20 minutes notice and then met me at my storage unit. After we loaded up, we went to my old place and got the rest of my things. Then we all drove to my new place and unloaded. The total time for the move was just over three hours for a fee of around $415*. I added a tip. I admit, I could have moved by myself for less money. At the same time I would have had to ask for volunteers, some of whom would probably flake, and it probably would have taken longer. ThenI would have had to find some way to compensate said volunteers. In this case, O'Connors made it easy, they did the heavy lifting and I was at work after only having to take the morning off. Trustworthy, professional and easy to work with. I'll probably move again one of these days. When I do, I'll call O'Connors for a quote. *Note: Not a huge thing, but O'Connors charged a small fee to drive to and from my move. I'm not sure if everybody does this and I honestly don't remember if it was mentioned when I made my quote, but I wanted to bring it up. It won't preclude me from using O'Connors again, because they were fantastic, but I thought a possible end user who is shopping around might want to know.

John O'Conner came highly recommended by a friend. His company is not the first moving company I've hired (for the record, the only thing I remember about the first was that they used the leg to my girlfriend's massage table as a wheel chock). I had a lot of angst about moving - there's nothing really fun about it. I took several evenings to pack and then two full days of vacation to finish. I spent a fortune on boxes and packing material - not to mention all the new stuff you have to buy for a new place. The only two good things about this experience is that I have a house I'm starting to feel at home in, and I met John O'Conner. A pretty bright guy once shared with me his theory for hiring great people by simply saying he appreciates a list of accomplishments but what he looks for is someone he'd let watch his kids. John is that guy. I'm sure I'll never move myself again, and I'm sure I'll never hire anyone else besides John and his company to do it.
