He did an excellent job, giving us thorough documentation on everything he checked and its status, with a well-organized report that made it easy to prioritize things to fix. I showed the report to my partner, who is handier about the house than I am, and he was hilariously impressed by the quality of our inspection versus what he got. And I quote: Partner: Reading report.... Partner: Dang, your inspector rocks. Partner: This is substantively worth the money. Our inspector was a bad joke. Partner: Panel's full, but you can repurpose the hot tub to a car charger. Partner: Goddamn, this inspector is badass. Partner: That's a pretty clean bill of health, and also, this inspector is the god-king of inspectors. Partner: WORK WAS DONE Partner: this is impossible Partner: None of that scares me off. The mortgage paperwork might be a pain, sorry about that, but you at least rolled a natural 20 on home inspector. So, hard to argue with that!

In every case he proved to be competent and thorough in his work. I like the way he spends time immediately after the inspection reviewing the findings both orally and using the many pictures he took. In all cases he was positive and truthful revealing an accurate and credible assessment of the house in question. His comprehensive digital report was delivered that evening or the next day. In all cases he took the time to make sure the client understood where all the critical components were located (gas shutoff, water shutoff etc.). He also offers the option to come back and update the report for any repairs that were made for a modest fee. For sellers, he provided the needed information we used to ensure any future transactions would not be hampered by last minute surprises from buyer inspections and lender appraisals. For buyers, he provided an accurate assessment of the property's condition avoiding any future surprises after the sale as well as expert guidance from which they could successfully navigate the home inspection contingency addendum process to determine what they are looking at and what, if any, requests of the seller they would make. Lastly, one of his unique traits is positive and friendly manner in which he conducts himself. Buying and selling a home is a very emotional and anxious time and his natural, easy going manner helps make the experience much less stressful. He is someone I can recommend with confidence.

Allen stopped by at our speculative house on time with a smile on his face. Despite the blisteringly hot 95 degree day, he quickly suited up and introduced himself. Allen was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I have always had a strong interest in following an inspector around a house as they perform their inspection. In the last two purchases I've made, I've found most inspectors are willing to share their approach, but really just want to focus on the job. Allen is different. He was willing to let me follow him around the entire time and he answered every question I had. As Allen found items of concern, he explained the severity and approach to solving the problems.
