WOW! Do not walk...you need to run here!…read more This restaurant was right near our hotel. We wanted crab while in Maryland, so this was the place! My family and I shared the crab casino which had Swiss cheese, bacon and garlic. I hate Swiss..but all the other flavors negated the strong Swiss flavor. This appetizer was absolutely delish and set the tone for the rest of the meal. They are known for their crab bombs, and we can see why! Think crab cake but so much more! My fiancé and I share the larger crab bomb, firecracker style. It's definitely large enough to share with two people. You would think firecracker style would be spicy, but its not. It was more of a peppery taste, but not overwhelming! It's also ALL crab! No fillers! It came with two sides. We chose the veggie of the day which was string beans and fries. All delish!! The fresh rolls and butter were also yummy. My fiancé also enjoyed his soda! It described it as being very crisp. Our waitress was Mixi!! She was AMAZING!! Do NOT sleep on the crab bomb! Order it. Order it now!

Been to the old location…read more Been to the new location. I don't get the hype. The food is basic at best. The fish (catfish and croaker) always tastes like it's been fried in grease that needs changing. There's no flavor profile in the food which is weird for a soul-food restaurant. The mixed veggies were absolutely disgusting-- gave them back. I paid $65 for fried catfish with two sides, fried croaker with two sides, a cookie and two drinks---and sadly, the only thing that was sort of worth it was the cornbread, but it tastes like it has coconut in it. I hate coconut. The item that was the most flavorful for me was the black eyed peas/hoppin John (minus the big pieces of fatty meat in them).

Their crab seasoning dip is delicious...yes I tasted the dip to see if it resembles the sauce my daughter makes at home for her crabs...and it does. I got my granddaughter the crab legs and they also look really good. Interesting this location doesn't seem to over season the crabs; however they provide a small container of old bay on the side. Still, if you like a lot of seasoning be sure to ask for extra. The interior was clean and didn't have a fishy smell I often dread in many restaurants that sell fresh seafood.

Let me jump straight in... I was in the mood for crabs, but wanted to try out a different location…read moreoutside of my normal spots... That's when I ran across The Crab Galley. I was intrigued by the reviews on the Cave Monster crabs ( even though I wanted something a little less daunting to enjoy my Friday evening ) I settled on the Jumbo crabs, 30pc large shrimps, crab dip ( that I could warm up at home ) and this pineapple drink concoction that ended up changing my entire perspective on what a fruit drink should taste like. The jumbo crabs were meaty and had the right amount of juiciness to them ( A- for sure ) the shrimps had that firm texture, with a cool amount of seasoning ( B+ all day ) and the pineapple juice was everything and then more... oh my, I'll go back weekly just to taste this amazing creation ( and eating the actual fruit after I finished the drink was WOW !! ) If you haven't already you have to give this juice a try ( A+++ and more !!! ) The Crab Galley is definitely my go to for my crab cravings to close out the summer...and next weekend I'm going to give the Cave Monster a try !!!!

My order was ready when I arrived. What I found interesting was stopping at Safeway in route home, they had some king crabs on sale and so I also grabbed a few of those and shrimps as well just to compare...& it was half the price of what I spent. Anyhoo-the crabs and shrimps were pretty good! And the hush puppies I thought were a bit over cooked. My shrimp salad I ended up returning. When i opened it, the smell was terrible! Very fishy. I literally just called them back and appreciated them providing me a refund. Next time I'm in the mood for crab legs and shrimp, I think I'll just make my way to Safeway lol. Happy Yelping!

Plus, you can't forget the grilled chicken. No lie, I think after I had it the first time, I had it 2 more times that same week . A friend ordered this for me on door dash, which is how I ended up with the chipotle Caesar. Otherwise, I would have never tried it. Don't get me wrong, it has a little kick, but very tolerable and packed with flavor. The line is never too long and they move fast in there. Whenever I am near, I have been stopping in. I believe they have a rewards program but I am not really sure what the points go towards and I always feel as though I am holding up the line so I have been skipping past it, but I really need to investigate that. P.S. the regular caesar does not taste like such and I would not recommend at all.

My friend/sis/roommate introduced me to The Twisted Crab and I have to say, it is VERY FUDGING GOOD!!! I swear I am not a seafood person due to texture... but I get the snow crablegs boil. It is a must have and if you like heat, the hot level is perfect and the spices hit!!! Also, if you get extra potatoes, sausages and corn, my advice is to boil an egg or 2 cut it in half, put it in a container with the 1 or 2 potatoes and sausages. Using the leftover sauce add it on top of the corn and egg, it will soak it up. I take mine for lunch and eat any leftovers for dinner!! It is very filling and hella good.
